This was the worst experience Iāve had in a long while. Me and a friend went in because she had a gift card and I figured Iād try somewhere new with her! As I am a regular client for another Thai Massage place in the area. We booked beforehand both requesting a male and deep pressure. I was unclear of what the process was as this was the first Thai massage Iāve received this way. Two woman walked us back & pointed at the table and we were told to lay back and place our feet in water and I assumed maybe cleaning the feet beforehand? This was followed by what felt like a 5 year old rubbing lotion on my feet and calves for almost 30 minutes. I myself was left on the table after for almost 10min with my eyes covered so had no idea what was going on. When she returned she began to rub my legs over my pants and at this point it just felt foolish and I wanted off. I removed the towel from my eyes and asked to convert my original 90min to a 60min and we could be done. She told me to flip around where she proceeded to elbow my shoulder blades for long enough to cause more pain than I laid down with. I got up paid and waited for my friend. When she finished and came out to pay, she informed the employee that she had a gift card. she was cut off pretty abruptly and told there was not receptionist therefore she canāt use it? She had a $100 bill on her and handed it to her as she just stared at her holding the gc. When receiving the $100 (massage is $90) the employee stared and pointed to the tip reference and asked for an additional amount. Had she just given back the change she would have received a $20 in place of the $10. At this point we were done. She would not stop staring or do anything with the $100 bill until my friend gave her another $20 and took it and told us to have a good day! Umm what!!! I would not have given her any additional money but my friend is a lot nicer than I, as she laid there for the 90min got overcharged and we both left needing massages. If youāre used to getting a massage and have an expectation this is not the place for you! Spend a little more...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLong story short: I was physically assaulted by a masseuse named David.
My husband and I booked a 90-minute combination massage. Less than ten minutes in, David began aggressively rubbing my entire face with excessive amounts of oil. It was so forceful that my headphonesāworn specifically to drown out noiseākept falling out. Despite this happening twice, he made no effort to adjust his approach, so I eventually removed them myself.
At that point, David abruptly stopped the massage and left the room. I assumed he had stepped out to get supplies. When he returned, he did not resume the massage. I lay there, eyes closed, waiting. After several minutes passed in complete silence, I opened my eyes to find him sitting there texting on his phone. Still trying to give the benefit of the doubt, I thought perhaps he was confirming our booking with the front desk. But he continued texting for another few minutes without any communication or acknowledgment of me lying there.
When I tried to sit up to ask what was happening, he suddenly grabbed me by the hairāhardāand yanked my braids back down toward the massage bed. The force and aggression were completely shocking. I screamed in pain and disbelief.
My husband and I immediately got up and left the room. At the front desk, another manāwithout even asking why we were upsetājust kept smiling and telling us to go back inside. I refused and demanded to speak to the manager. We were told the manager was āon break.ā I insisted they call the manager, who eventually appeared, apologized, and offered 20% off our next visit, as if we would ever consider coming back.
What I should have done was call the police, because this was an unprovoked physical assault. Instead, I left, completely shaken. We were promised the owner would contact us to address what happened. No one ever reached out.
If you value your safety and basic respect as a client, do not go here. Spare yourself the risk of being assaulted and ignored. There are plenty of reputable establishments that will actually treat you like a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI normally donāt leave reviews unless the the service was exceptional or sub-par. I was disappointed with the quality of the massage.
My gf and I did a couples massage with 2 older masseuses. We started by soaking our feet in the water basin which lead to a foot massage. We signed up for 90 minutes, and it appears the first 30 minutes was the foot massage. I am very ticklish so I told them not to worry about the foot massage, but apparently thatās not an option.
After 10 minutes into the 30 minute foot massage I asked them to stop and move onto something else. What actually happened is I laid on the table for ~15 minutes while the masseuse wandered around aimlessly.
I signed up for a Thai massage aka a deep tissue massage. The remaining 60 minutes was the Thai massage. It reminded me of when I pet my dog. You do a little scritch here, a little scritch there. 60 minutes of this. I wanted to cancel the massage 30 minutes into it, but didnāt want to ruin my girlfriendās experience. Itās too bad because apparently she had the same experience.
We will not be returning.
We only came to visit this location because the Thai royal massage off greenway/Shea does a great job.
I gave them 2 start instead of 1 because I think they were trying their best. Not sure if that makes it...
