The first time I went here I took some clients for happy hour that were in from out of town. Everything was great until I went to pay the bill. My company card was declined which was odd but I just paid with another card. The girl was very nice about it and said it was happening often because they were a new establishment. I went back this weekend with a group for a friends birthday. We were there late so of course it was a different crowd than happy hour. I ordered 2 drinks at the bar and again my card gets declined. I paid with another card but explained to the guy behind the bar how this had happened before. I went on to say that it seems like an ongoing issue and that management should consider looking into it. I was in no way disorderly, it was pretty worth mentioning since it was the 2nd time it happened. I go on my way back over to my friends and the next thing I know I'm being asked to leave by 2 men. Myself and my friends that witnessed the whole thing were appalled. The fact that the people asking me to leave and forced me out the door didn't bother asking what happened. It was clear that I was not overly intoxicated or acting disorderly in any way. I will never support this business in the future and have never seen such poor management/service ever. They clearly have an issue with their credit card system and their staff. I'm still just baffled about the whole situation and how it...
Read moreI had high hopes for this place and was let down completely. I ordered the "Disco Inferno" sandwich, the hottest they make, and I had about a two on a scale of 1-10 for the spice level. The regular spicy chicken had the same heat level as my inferno. I didn't even need a single drop of water to get me through the sandwich and drenched the sandwich in Buffalo sauce, which turned out to be what tasted like a sweet honey/mustard-based sauce. No spice whatsoever! Along with the food, the music was ridiculous! I get that it is downtown Scottsdale, but for a Sunday at 11:00 AM to not even be able to have a conversation on their outside patio at the table furthest from the restaurant because the music was blaring so loud was just stupid. Get over it, guys... It's a Sunday morning, and you aren't a club. The whole vibe was just a total "TRY HARD" from them. We walked away laughing at whatever they were trying to make it there. Save yourself the money, the time, and the inconvenience of spending money there. If you are a true foodie and not a bar rat, this is NOT a place for you!! It's not authentic at all and just a little show boat spot for people to take their...
Read moreThis place is poorly run. We kept coming back because the atmosphere is fun but one night we came in specifically for Top Gun Trivia which was advertised on Instagram and it was Bachelor/Bachelorette trivia instead which I really know nothing about. We have reserved tables on a couple occasions but came in for Drag Queen Bingo one night without a reservation and were seated at a table - after about 30 minutes (& once the bar was packed) an employee came and asked us to move. I asked him to suggest another seating arrangement for our group and he said he had none but would comp us a drink. He said the tables were for reservations only but no one mentioned that when we were seated and by the time he told us we needed to move the bar was packed. We took the 3 drink credit and went to another bar. Tonight I decided to give the Hot Chick one last try and and realized they charge processing fees on the bill. Come on! If you need to charge customers processing fees when we already paid over $56 for 4 white claws and 2 shots you really don’t deserve to be in business. I can’t imagine the Hot Chick will last very long...
