I went here the Sunday after Valentines Day and everything was decked out in valentines decor! It was super cute! I made a reservation for my group for lunch since they mention it’s a bar restaurant. The drinks were good and the food was great. It’s such a shame that the establishment didn’t let my group finish their meal. Since the place is decorated for people to take pictures we asked our server to take a picture of us away from our table. We were not gone for 2 minutes and they were already bussing away our unfinished food!! We come back and let the employee know that we were not finished and he offers to leave the plates of our food for us to finish, but he has already stacked dirty dishes and trash on top of our food!!! We look at him in disbelief and tell him we wont eat food with trash on it and he hits us back with “there is no trash on it see?” But the bottom of one plate is on top of the food! Why would anyone eat it now???! We let him know we would like to see a manager and the server comes up to us we let him know what happened and he tells us the employee told him that they were bussing the table because there was trash on the plates and thought we were done. First of all, was there trash on the plates or not?? Why are you lying? Their solution was to comp a meal and half of the other but we hadn’t even ate half of it! We let them know that we were not trying to get stuff for free and we would pay the bill in full if they just remade what they threw away! We wanted to enjoy the rest of our meal and the experience of this trendy restaurant bar but they were more interested in flipping the table and getting us out of there. When the manager FINALLY decided to show up we expressed what happened and how we would like it fixed he looked at us confused because we wanted the food remade. He then left in the middle of the conversation talking about upcoming reservations and was going to check on something but we noticed him talking to security. We had been polite the entire interaction and didn’t feel like we’re were asking for much! But I think he was getting security ready to kick us out. Overall the experience was the worst I have ever had in an establishment such...
Read moreImagine going to a packed bar, waiting 15 minutes just to buy two drinks, and finally finding a nearly empty table. I asked someone sitting there if it was okay to set my purse down so I could dance, and they said yes. Less than five minutes later, a server came over and told me to move my purse because the table was "reserved."
I let her know that I had asked for permission, and the person at the table confirmed it—but the server still got rude. I waved her off and told her to "gone on." Seconds later, I was told to step outside. Absolutely not. That server was clearly on a power trip.
The craziest part? I had already heard terrible things about this place but decided to give it a chance. Never again.
The part that baffled me the most was when the security guard said, "If you were a man, I would physically remove you." Like, what? So y'all just put your hands on people for no reason when there are witnesses? 🤔
That’s ridiculous. Kicking someone out over something so minor, especially when you had permission, just proves that place has bad management. It sounds like they let their staff get away with power-tripping instead of focusing on real customer service.
UPDATE: Your staff displayed poor customer service and made an incorrect assumption. She wanted to be seen, but I was not looking. Your server was rude and unprofessional. The refund was requested, not offered, and obtaining it was unnecessarily difficult after being...
Read moreThis is a fun themed pop-up bar and during our visit it was dressed for Halloween but they change through the year for other holidays.
It is a rather small venue and I would recommend reservations - since we went on a Thursday night and it was oddly packed.
I've included a picture of the Halloween menus - standard pub food fare including excellent flatbread, smash tacos, burgers and more.
TVs line one wall - showing sports as well as some theme stuff.
The clientele ranges - pretty inclusive. Mostly a younger crowd but several other GenX couples
Music was excellent and not too loud. There is no dancing or anything - you sit, chat, listen and watch.
Food was surprisingly good. Pics included.
The drinks range in quality. We tried four different ones and the candy corn and Carmel apple drinks were the best to us.
The bill before tip was $130 with two entrees, an appetizer and 4 alcoholic drinks.
This is a chill place. The staff was great but they don't show up to your table every 7.5 minutes to check on you. That may bother some - but just come to chill; the booze and food will make it.
As for dress? Again, covered the gambit. Ladies might want to upscale the sexy a little bit - men seemed to be all in casual dress.
A neat place and we will be going back in November when they change to Christmas. Recommended stop...
