Arguably the best Texas dogs in NEPA! I was astonished as to how affordable and filling this diner was, or as I like to say "cheep and cheerful".

I arrived at around 12:30 on a Sunday, and while there were a handful of people here, it did take a few minutes to be greeted and to have my order taken. I was not sure if they were short-staffed, or if it was just a "busy" day for them.

When the waitress finally came to take my order, she did apologize for the wait and explained it was a bit of a hectic day. I ordered 2 Texas dogs, fries and a Pepsi and she went and placed my order into the lone griller.

Everything here is made to order fresh, which is awesome, so I knew there would be a bit of a wait. It did seem to take longer than usual for a two hot-dogs with chilli, but I will again chalk it up to either being short-staffed, or just "busy".

When she finally brought my order over, there was only 1 dog and a basket of fries. I had to point out that I ordered 2 dogs and she said she would get right on that.

In this situation, one would think that they would make that a priority, instead of helping others who were seated and had placed orders after you, but unfortunately that was not the case. I don't even recall getting a "sorry" for the mistake. By the time the second dog arrived, I was pretty much done my meal and of course I had to wait an additional 10-15 minutes for my second dog.

The waitress was nice enough, the food itself was AMAZING but the overall "experience" was not what I would expect.

With all of this said, I would still give them another chance as we all have "off" days, and I hold no bitterness or resentment. The food was fantastic and the prices are unbeatable. I would just like to see them sort out their staffing issues and be sure to stay on top of orders.

Food is 5 out of 5 stars Service itself is a 3 out of 5 Total...

Not thrilled . I make a much better hot dog at home ! Nothing more than a super market FrAnkfurter split and grilled . I was NOT treated courteously and caught a staffer there actually giving me malevolent stares as if I was not welcome there . To add insult to injury my order was not even filled correctly . This joint has absolutely NOTHING in common with the famous and original Coney Island in Brooklyn N.Y. They neec to change their name to mediocre munch counter . Oh yeah , and forget about good parking , very limited . Anybody thinking this joint has good food had obviously never experienced a REAL NYC hot dog from Sabrett , Boars Head , or House O' Weenies . I dont consider 9 bux for two mediocre franks and a soda good pricing at all . Don"t reccomend it , and I will not EVER...

It's an old fashioned dinner. A step back to a few decades ago. . Decked out in baseball memorabilia a number of interesting things hang on the wall. The food is pretty typical...the renowned chili sauce...not so renowned. Waitstaff never got back for a refill or to ask if we wanted dessert. Which we did but didn't get a chance to order as no matter how hard we tried we could not get the waitresses attn and just decided to pay and leave. Would go back for a quick lunch but would sit at the red stooled counter in the hope of receiving...

Bronwynn, Connor, Pete...love you all! Great service. Sweet folks. Vibrant personalities. Food is delish. I am a total foodie and I was completely satisfied. I had to stop myself from ordering more and digging in my sister’s plate. Bronwynn, I was supposed to come back with a chocolate cake for your birthday but I couldn’t and I was crushed. So happy belaaaaaated BDay and hope you enjoy the pic of a cake I wished for you.

To be honest, we came here because Season 7 episode 10 of "The Office" - cold open when Dwight insists on drinking hot coffee with his feet. The mug he uses is from Coney Island Lunch. But we found a gem! Simple menu, very reasonable prices, and fast friendly service from a restaurant that has been doing it right for almost 100 years. Love we will be regulars! Oh and makes sure to save room for dessert
