Coney Island of Scranton — Restaurant in Scranton

Yesterday, there were call outs and only three people on. Two cooking and one tending to tables/cashiering/maintaining the restaurant/keeping it clean/etc and they all did a phenomenal job and i got my food at little to no wait for the fact that it was busy. There were people going in and out as soon as they got in as well. My food tasted amazing to say the least. It wasn't burnt or any imperfection despite how fast they got it to me with how busy they were. I am honestly so impressed it isn't easy to tend to that many people and still do an amazing job and that was one of the best weenie's i've ever had with all the works. I also saw that they had milkshakes and ordered that after my initial order and they got it out to me in less than two minutes which was insane because of how busy they were. The milkshake was also worth trying....

Friendly owner greetings at entrance. Place is immaculate. Bathrooms were clean and tidy. They sell Coke products, a plus. Beer batter onion rings were pretty good, got the chili large dog. No slaw on the dogs 🐕, 😢 they don't have it. French fries are mashed potatoes shoestring fries 🍟. Parking is on the street. Hopefully they will add crinkle fries 🍟 and coleslaw to the menu so I could change my review to a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Pistachio milkshake is flavored, if Id of know I'd had a chocolate or vanilla. But all in all the waitresses were very helpful and traded the fries to a cup of soup. So there are several cartoon pictures on the walls of locals that enjoy eating here. The pictures were created at the local newspaper, the locals sent their pictures to and are created, Neet idea 💡. Can you find the picture of the couple visiting today...

I like hitting off-beat local food. If you do too, then this fits the bill. They serve a small rectangle shaped burger (take that White Castle!) with onions, mustard and chili. If you want something different, they have a hot dog with chili, mustard, and onions. The fries are good and they can be had with several toppings. The service was pleasant, but I could tell that they are more accustomed to people who know that you just grab a table and they'll come to you and who know what they serve. The walls are covered with drawings of people. Are they famous? Maybe....maybe not. They're famous enough to be on the wall which is more than I can...
