My friends and I went here for the first time based upon the excellent reviews, but unfortunately, this family run place fell short in some respects. Our server was less than impressive. She failed to tell us about the daily specials, and she messed up one of the orders. Although the place was less than full when we ordered, our main courses took forever to arrive. The food was good overall, but we all thought our food was over salted. They failed to tell us that the tip was already included, and they added an extra charge, also undisclosed in advance, for paying with a credit card. Made a reservation for 10 people and called many times prior to the reservation to confirm and no one ever answered the phone. My party showed up for our reservation and the restaurant was closed, no lights on, no staff there, again, no answer on the phone either and no message on the machine stating they were going to be closed. Did they shut down? Were they on vacation? Did no one feel like working? This place has authentic Italian pasta. I absolutely love Pesto. I ordered from here about a month ago. The pasta was perfectly Al dente and the pesto was absolutely delicious! They also put some focaccia bread in and that was delicious too. Over the past weekend, I ordered Fettuccine Carbonara. It was very good, plenty of bacon and peas but I did not notice any onion.
