If you’re looking for a good Breakfast or Lunch spot this is the place. This was my first time at First Watch. It’s a chain but they have so many options I had to try it. This particular location gets very, very busy. The staff is very friendly and my server Gita was delightful. She was very attentive and accommodating to all of us. First Watch has a very extensive menu. They have pretty much everything you could want for Breakfast even healthy options, along with Sandwiches and Salads too! I ordered their TRIFECTA -Two fresh cage-free eggs any style with either a Belgian waffle or a multigrain pancake. Plus your choice of bacon, savory chicken sausage patty, turkey or pork sausage links. I chose Two Eggs Over Easy with a Chicken Patty and a Belgian Waffle! My waffle was very light and delicious with hints of vanilla. The syrup was served warmed. The chicken patty was wonderful. My eggs were cooked perfectly. I ordered coffee and it was fresh and hot and they put a pot of coffee on our table . I really enjoyed my breakfast. On the table they put a carafe of water. My bf ordered their TRADITIONAL BREAKFAST - He ordered Scrambled Eggs, Turkey Sausage, Seasoned Potatoes and it came with their Artisan Toast and House Preserves. I tried his potatoes and they were delicious so were their preserves. He also ordered their PURPLE HAZE-Lemon, cane sugar, butterfly pea flower tea and a hint of lavender.( non alcoholic version.). My mom ordered the exact same as me. My brother ordered their CHILI CHORIZO OMELETTE -Chorizo, avocado, green chiles. house-roasted onions, Cheddar and Monterey Jack.Topped with all-natural sour cream and served with a side of housemade pico de gallo. This was definitely a lot of food. He loved it! My Niece chose their CLASSIC EGGS BENEDICT -poached cage-free eggs atop toasted ciabatta with your choice of combinations and topped with hollandaise. It looked wonderful and she enjoyed it. Her bf eats very healthy and chose their PESTO CHICKEN QUINOA BOWL- Protein-packed quinoa, kale, shredded carrots and house roasted tomatoes topped with all natural chicken breast. basil pesto sauce, lemon white balsamic dressing. He loved his breakfast. This is a pretty large place. They have outdoor seating and animals are welcomed. There’s plenty of free parking in their lot and there are some handicapped parking spots. I would definitely...
Read moreThis used to me my FAVORITE breakfast place that I come to every couple weeks for years! However the past three experiences have been awful including today. My table is always MISSING a setup so I can’t stir the sugar in my coffee AND to make the matters worst I can’t find ANYONE to help me not even my server. Other servers and busboys see that I’m looking around for help but NOBODY bothers to ask if I need help. Also the past three visits I’ll ask for water and the server will FORGET to bring the water as well. IN ORDER TO GET HELP I HAVE TO LEAVE MY TABLE, WALK UP TO THE FRONT AND ASK FOR WATER AND A SETUP which is not something a customer should have to do if the server or the restaurant was run properly. I am extremely DISAPPOINTED at what this establishment has turned out to be. Everyone here is like robots without any true server skills or memory to remember what to do and it doesn’t matter that they are BUSY. That is NOT AN EXCUSE! I used to be a server for many years and worked at high end restaurants that were busier and had clientele that expected everything to be perfect. I am not asking for much... a roll up, water and someone to acknowledge when I need help. THIS IS BASIC RESTAURANT ETIQUETTE. My recommendation is daily huddles reminding servers these essential skills to keep customers happy since once the locals stay and the people who vacation leave so they don’t care but I DO. Also, you should have someone on the floor walking around to make sure everyone has what they need to tend to their needs if the servers are busy and are unable to assist with ANYTHING! I didn’t even see the manager once on the floor. I keep coming back hoping for a change but it’s the same issues over and over again.
Update
I have been at this location two times since the last review and I have had amazing experience. The staff has been outstanding proving great customer service with prompt assistance. Today I tried my favorite new item on the menu called the power bowl quinoa bowl with mushrooms, Kale and roasted red peppers and an egg on top...delicious. I am glad that things turned around at this location and I can again enjoy it like I used to. Good work everyone and thank you for your hospitality! Thank you Chris (manager) for taking feedback and helping set a standard and making changes at...
Read moreWorst experience EVER!!! If I could give a negative star review, I would. I usually do not like to give a negative review but this wasn’t a pleasant experience and I feel management should be aware.
I have never visited the LBTS location and I will never go again. I’ve been to Dania Pointe and have had great food each time. The service is lacking there as well but the food more than makes up for it, so the poor service is overlooked.
From second one, it started off wrong. I’ve spoken highly about this place to my husband and he’ll never go back again.
We waited 25 min for a table when there were 7 vacant dirty tables inside and 4 vacant dirty tables outside. Unacceptable. Strike one.
The food was undercooked and inedible, we didn’t eat anything on our plate and this didn’t even prompt anyone to come and see if everything was okay.
The water was yellow, glasses were dirty and smelled of dirty mop water, fountain soda was flat and disgusting. Strike two.
Utensils were too big and the handles were extra long and awkward. Eggs uncooked, watery, runny and were sliding around on my plate. The million dollar bacon did not live up to expectations, like I’ve had another time in DP and the bacon was raw. The seasoned potatoes were undercooked and seemed like the potatoes weren’t boiled prior to cooking. They were also too hard to eat and way too garlicky. The bread was the only edible thing and that was mediocre at best.
Service terrible. We weren’t asked how everything is going. Paid to not eat and be ignored. Strike three.
Left a terrible taste in my mouth and probably will never go back...
