First Watch

This used to me my FAVORITE breakfast place that I come to every couple weeks for years! However the past three experiences have been awful including today. My table is always MISSING a setup so I can’t stir the sugar in my coffee AND to make the matters worst I can’t find ANYONE to help me not even my server. Other servers and busboys see that I’m looking around for help but NOBODY bothers to ask if I need help. Also the past three visits I’ll ask for water and the server will FORGET to bring the water as well. IN ORDER TO GET HELP I HAVE TO LEAVE MY TABLE, WALK UP TO THE FRONT AND ASK FOR WATER AND A SETUP which is not something a customer should have to do if the server or the restaurant was run properly. I am extremely DISAPPOINTED at what this establishment has turned out to be. Everyone here is like robots without any true server skills or memory to remember what to do and it doesn’t matter that they are BUSY. That is NOT AN EXCUSE! I used to be a server for many years and worked at high end restaurants that were busier and had clientele that expected everything to be perfect. I am not asking for much... a roll up, water and someone to acknowledge when I need help. THIS IS BASIC RESTAURANT ETIQUETTE. My recommendation is daily huddles reminding servers these essential skills to keep customers happy since once the locals stay and the people who vacation leave so they don’t care but I DO. Also, you should have someone on the floor walking around to make sure everyone has what they need to tend to their needs if the servers are busy and are unable to assist with ANYTHING! I didn’t even see the manager once on the floor. I keep coming back hoping for a change but it’s the same issues over and over again.

Update

I have been at this location two times since the last review and I have had amazing experience. The staff has been outstanding proving great customer service with prompt assistance. Today I tried my favorite new item on the menu called the power bowl quinoa bowl with mushrooms, Kale and roasted red peppers and an egg on top...delicious. I am glad that things turned around at this location and I can again enjoy it like I used to. Good work everyone and thank you for your hospitality!
