My review has been deleted by business owner to keep everyone in the dark..I will start off with my positive feedback. Marissa was very pleasant and helpful with check in. Location is prime, being so close to beach access and offering free parking. Now on to my honest feedback. After reading mostly good reviews I took a chance and booked this "Resort". I use quotations because resort is a stretch and definitely misleading. My stay was June 2021. Part of the property is under construction due to a fire that was last year. Looking at the building it appears closed and uninviting. The apartment was spacious but extremely run down and in need of a complete overhaul. When walking into the room we immediately noticed windows were open in living room and then bedroom too, later realized it was due to the smell of mildew or mold present. Ceilings show water damage in all rooms, possibly the reason for smell. Furniture was old and worn, I believe the carpet was original from many decades ago. Opened a closet to find a nasty air handler completely covered in dirt and thick dust. This same air handler was pumping out the air that had to cool the apartment. Bed was a very thin uncomfortable mattress with pillows that were like pancakes. Bathroom door looked like it had been kicked in at one point. Tiles in bathroom moved when you walk. Toilet was small and very low to the floor. Water was light brownish in color made us feel uncomfortable brushing teeth or showering. We spent most of our time at the beach and in town dining and site seeing. Thankfully, we left our luggage zipped closed, when we woke up and flipped on the lights, we saw large cockroaches running. Needless to say, we booked 2 nights though Priceline and checked out early after first night. Never have I paid money for such poor accommodations. Priceline contacted the property and we were refunded for 2nd night that we did not stay. I write this lengthy review because I don’t want anyone else to pay $150 per night for a filth ridden business that in my opinion should not be operating in the state that it's in.

Excellent location, value, friendly professional staff. This should be your first choice on El Mar Drive, LBTS ; . . .

Horrible. Booked online for an "Oceanside" room. Hotel completely misrepresented their facilities. Our experience started out by arriving at the hotel at 4 pm in a thunderstorm. We drive 26 hours from Michigan, pulled in to a locked office door with an "open" sign glowing and stood in the pouring rain bewildered. I called the number several times only to have it go to voicemail. We even sent several text messages hoping to get someone. No response. 45 minutes later they called saying " the owner was in the restroom" and can check you in now. Uck She took us down an alley like a walkway to an upstairs corner room overlooking the busy A1A main roadway. With 4 total windows. It was dark, moldy smelling, and housed roaches. We thanked her promptly with a "no thank you" and found a more suitable property. They even attempted to charge us for not staying. It is not a deal or any type of value. Stay...

Go see this place before you book it. I was checking out the mixed reviews on AirBB, the inside photos looked decent enough, the price is OK but when I went to view the property in person I can tell you that for me instantly it was a huge eye opener. 1/2 this property looks like a war zone. I’m talking deteriorating exterior, boarded up windows, crumbling apart, the pool area is a disgrace, like an abandoned building with a barely kept pool beside it, dirty surroundings. If you’re on a budget and only need a place to throw your stuff or your alternative is a hostile then maybe you wont mind. If you have kids that like a pool and or if you want a semi decent property around you I would go look before I booked. Thank goodness I did! Hopefully someone will gut it and give it a makeover bc it definitely has potential. There you have it...
