My family and I ordered food through the drive through at the Seabrook McDonald’s location. We pulled up to the window to pay. I presented my coupon that I had on my mobile phone. I was told by the clerk “we don’t accept that”. I had many questions, I asked him “why not” and “since when” as the same McDonalds accepted a similar coupon from my phone just 3 days prior. He refused to answer any of my questions and instead he abruptly began loudly arguing that I should have told him about my coupon over the microphone and because I didn’t (as I didn’t know he preferred this), he didn’t have to accept the coupon. When I continued to ask legitimate questions such as “how do I use a scannable coupon over the microphone if you can’t see it to scan it?” the employee then offered me a very strange deal: He told me that he would scan my coupon but prepare to be banned from McDonalds for life….which was quite a bizarre threat considering I was only trying to use a coupon. But furthermore this created even more questions for me, so I then asked to speak with the manager to help clarify the strange situation. The employee was having a very hard time effectively communicating the store’s policies and deals. The employee then told me that the manager didn’t have time to speak with me, and that he was also too busy to go get the manager. So I politely let him know that I would be happy to wait if he was busy, I’m a very patient person. The employee then unexpectedly proceeded to scan my coupon (which he originally said he was not capable of doing) and then he looked at my children sitting in the back seat and proceeded to bark at them that they were now banned for life from McDonalds. It was a pretty bizarre experience. The entire situation was really inappropriate and a big waste of time for both the customer and the business. I think Seabrook McDonald’s could do better by posting a sign letting customers know policies before they ordered at the microphone, the sign could state whatever policies were being implemented that day so that customers could be prepared to just go to Wendy’s if it happened to be a day where extra strange policies were in place. I also deducted an additional star because both 6 piece chicken nuggets that I paid for only came with 5 pieces. Read moreI got a Large coffee at another McDonald's location yesterday, and the price that was charged was $1.17 (after tax). Today, I went to the drive-thru at the Seabrook McDonald's location, and ordered a Large coffee, except here at this location they apparently charge a different price, as I was told that the price was $2.89 (after tax). When I got to the window, I asked the server what the price was for a Large coffee, and he said $2.89. I told him that I just bought a Large coffee yesterday at a McDonald's, and it was only $1.17, so how come it was $2.89 today. He made a face like he was annoyed by the question, and said..."You didn't get a coffee here for $1.17, it's $2.89 here for a Large coffee"...I said "your right, I didn't get that coffee here, it was at another Mcdonald's location (Amesbury, MA, just down the road a bit), and I guess I won't be getting my coffee here today either, you can enjoy that $2.89 coffee yourself"...and I drove away, and went to the McDonald's location in Amesbury, and got my Large coffee there...and yes, it was only $1.17 (after tax). I do not write reviews, but because of the last few times that I have attempted to purchase food here, I felt that I had to share my absolutely negative experiences at this mcDonald's location. I highly recommend that you avoid the Seabrook McDonald's location, and save yourself a lot of frustration and headache. Every time I have gone to this location (it really is this location, because I have a bad experience the last 4 times that I have been to this particular McDonald's location). The staff are rude, they do not care about integrity, and they get an attitude if you should have to ask for something that they should have provided and included with your food order. This McDonald's location doesn't even deserve 1 star. They just continue to contribute to eroding away the reputation of McDonald's, as a company (not that they have a good reputation anyway...their food is just plain bad, and the product that you actually get, is nothing like the images that they bombard you with in their commercials, or even on their menus. And the staff, that is another can of worms. McDonald's as a whole, have become truly sad and pathetic). I am done, and will never return to this McDonald's...

I placed an order in the app. Have the person at the drive through the number I am supposed to give. She said she couldn't find it.. So she said to just give her the order of what I wanted.. To which I did.. I them pulled forward as asked and told them my order number to which he said he couldn't find it.. Or what I told the woman at the drive through. He said to just pull forward and they would get it.. them when I get to the second and last driver through window she hands me an order that was wrong so I said this is the wrong order..I tried to explain myself to the young lady at the window but she said that's what you ordered you'll need to just go though the drive through again.. Well needless to say I wasn't going to do that again with the issue I just went through or think that I should have to.. so then I asked to speak to the manager who did come to the window and told me that's my order that's what you ordered.. Before listening to me explanation of what happened or anything I again tried to tell him that wasn't my order.. anyways.. He never listened.. or tried to make it right.. Or apologize.. it was busy.. It was noon on a Thursday.. But hey that should be regular business for a McDonald's and as a Manager.. to talk to a customer that way.. He either doesn't care or is just not fit for customer service.. Hey things happen things go wrong but it is how you handle the situation.. sure my bad experience wasn't obviously affect this stores revenue.. nor will the 3.7 score this place has.. But hopefully reading this review will make you think twice before choosing this location before anything else in the area.. Until Allen...
