Kartunes Auto Stereo and Alarm — Local services in Seaside

I've known Tim for years and he has always done outstanding service. Taken in multiple cars for service including a delivery truck, and years later the audio systems are still kicking without static.

Just recently took in my Toyota Matrix Xrs for a deck upgrade and got myself a Pioneer touchscreen with Android Auto. I've driven over 1100 miles, up to Lake Tahoe twice and back from Santa Cruz so I definitely got a good road trip listening test in. There are so many features on this deck I'm still trying to get them all configured. My favorite feature of all is Android Auto. The voice commands allows for hands free convenient use, I ask it whatever I need at a whim. Directions, done! Closest gas station, it finds it. "Where's a grocery store?", it pulls up a few in the area and you choose which one you want.

With my car not having any voice features built in, Tim was able to install a microphone that is discreetly placed on top the steering column just behind the steering wheel. An auxiliary USB port was installed conveniently below the center console near the flooring to allow a connection with your android phone for charging and data transfer. I have had a great experience with these guys. They are super friendly and really care about customer satisfaction. They took in my two door truck to get power locks. My truck also has a old system so many installers struggle to work on it. But not these guys. They went far beyond to look for all the information about my old system even though it had been discontinued for years. Even so, they got it done the same day I took it in. Only taking about 3 hours or so. It even had the extra hurdle that before I bought it, it had been stolen so it was pretty butchered. And they still got the system on. Going out of their way to add parts that were stolen of it. All to make my system work. Which I really appreciate.

After I didn't understand some of the work that was done. Do to my misinformation using Youtube videos (a mistake). Tim really took the time to explain all the ins and outs of the work he did. And even explain some of the hidden quirks with my truck that with out him I would have never known. Being very patient with all my misinformed questions. I would like to share my experience yesterday over at Kartunes , Seaside/Monterey, CA. My appointment was scheduled for 1pm. I received an email, txt and phone call around 11:30 from that nice lady (so terrible with names) letting me know that they’ve completed their prior appointment and that I may drive in at my convenience. Surely by 12 noon I have already arrived and signed the well explained work order agreement. (Driving around back to their installation station was pretty cool as an added note) Mr Tim greeted and professionally gave me the run down on what’s going to happen and to return in 2 hrs. So An hour and 10 minutes go by and I receive another email, txt and phone call letting me know the my CVPI is ready for pickup. I didn’t even finish my half eaten, over priced burrito from the corner bistro and hurried back to their fine electrical shop in which I received the the bill to pay and the receipt to keep. We then exchanged a few humorous catch phrases and I was a explained proper operational procedures for my new device and we said our goodbyes and I was out.
