Read moreI am writing this review on behalf of my friend who visited from out of town this past week. They ordered an oat milk latte and a vegan burrito. After eating a portion the food, they had a severe allergic reaction due to their dairy allergy. The result was a trip to the emergency room (Virginia Mason), requiring epinephrine and antihistamine treatment intravenously. It was not a subtle reaction.
On one hand, they did not inform the staff that they have a dairy allergy, and this is why they did not personally follow up with you. But on the other hand, if you order oat milk and vegan food, should you really have to specify that you don't eat dairy? From their past experience, they have never before required a hospital visit and have only ever had subtle reactions to any traces they have encountered, so they do not think this was a case of "traces" of dairy -- the guess right now is that the items were mixed up during preparation and that something with regular milk or non-vegan ingredients was served instead of the requested item (but it's impossible to be sure). The only thing we know is the end result.
I saw in another review that someone complained about this establishment having made mistakes regarding ingredients and potential allergens.
This hopefully will serve as a reminder to please train your staff that if someone orders food that has no dairy they should perhaps ask if they have a dairy allergy. But my friends for sure will be more careful to spell it out in their future...
Read moreI stumbled upon 203 Fahrenheit Coffee Company while exploring the city and I'm so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the cozy and inviting ambiance. The decor was modern yet warm, with comfortable seating and plenty of natural light streaming in.
But let's talk about the coffee - I ordered a vanilla latte and it was out of this world! The balance of espresso and sweet vanilla flavor was just perfect. The latte art was a beautiful touch and showed the care and attention to detail that the barista put into making my drink.
What I loved most about this cafe, though, was the unique atmosphere. It was a bustling yet peaceful space where I could enjoy my coffee and read a book or catch up on work. The friendly staff made me feel right at home, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like free WiFi and ample charging outlets.
All in all, 203 Fahrenheit Coffee Cafe is a gem of a spot and I can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious drinks and treats. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this...
