The Steamer Virginia V — Attraction in Seattle

It should be illegal for a venue this incompetant to market itself as a an event venue to innocent, unsuspecting people. I've heard this happen on multiple occasions including several weddings (including my niece's) and huge celebrations.

What anyone considering the Virginia V for a major event should know is that the wooden ship goes through regular periods of repairs with absolutely terrible misjudgments from its staff on how much work there is to be done and how far out it should be started. Don't take the executive director Debra's word for anything because they can pull out and cancel on you last minute as they've already done on several occasions.

Beautiful boat with fabulous crew! We were on the Virginia V for a wedding and everything was perfect. The lake was beautiful and our ride was smooth and worry-free. We had two pre-k age children with us and even they had so much fun. When one of them fell asleep and we were being still and holding her, the staff kept checking on us and bringing us water and even wedding cake. This review is for the 13 min tour of the Virginia V steamship. We came across this tour by accident and decided to check it out. The tour was interesting and time flew by quickly. From the website- "When the ship is at the dock and not booked for a cruise or event, it is open for public tours Thursday through Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m"
