This place was one of my friends recommendations, she is a native Seattle resident, and works in the food and beverage service industry, so I trusted her opinion. To my delight, my meal was well made, and met my dietary preference needs of being a Vegan.

The night we went here it was quite busy, even for a Sunday night! Most tables were occupied, but we found seats quickly, even with the busy crowd.

What can I say, I love Mediterranean food! Even though most of the options are for the Omnivorous, you can always count on hummus, and a good falafel to come to the rescue if you are an herbivore like me! The flavours were there, the food was fresh, and the service was fast, so if you are looking for good food in a pinch, here is where you can find it! I was impressed with how well my wrap was made, it was packed with ingredients, yet didn't fall apart, and it was lightly toasted, which I loved!

Located just rolling/walking distance from the Capitol Hill LightRail (Link) station, it's super easy to get to using the 1 Line, it drops you off basically around the corner and across the street.

I will definitely be coming back here the next time I am in the neighbourhood, and if I was lucky enough to live in the neighbourhood I would have a hard time not coming back...

You know that feeling in the pit of your stomach, and you just want to cry? This place gave me that feeling. I ordered the chicken shawarma and greek fries through delivery. The order arrived at a reasonable time, but they gave me the wrong order, a chicken gyro. Given that I have a gluten allergy, I immediately called back to see if they could give me the correct order, but they told me I'd have to come in for it which kind of defeats the purpose of me paying extra to have it delivered. I got no remedy for the situation and found the man on the phone to be incredibly dismissive of the situation. Trying to make the most out of a bad situation, I decided to give it a try, without the pita wrap. I did receive the fries which were okay, but the chicken itself from the gyro was oddly mustardy. Definitely not ordering from them again. I think I'll stick to one of the few pretty decent places around U District instead. Maybe it will make me feel less of the bitter disappointment in the pit of my stomach and maybe some of the queasiness...

This place is one of the best Mediterranean restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. From the outside I would categorize this place as a hole in the wall. I love finding these kind of places. In my experience these places are the best. This time was indeed one of the best! The place was very clean and neat. Friendly greetings when you walk in. A good size menu to select from. Ordered the beef/lamb gyro plate. Ugh the meat was amazing! I loved how some pieces were crunchy. Every bite was full of flavor. Their hot sauce was so delicious I was pouring it on my plate. Of course to top it off I had the pistachio baklava. It didn’t disappoint at all. Pistachio is my favorite version of baklava. This is a new top recommendation if you are ever interested in Mediterranean food! I’ll be back and I’ll probably order for delivery even sooner! Get over there and you’ll see what I mean. It’s so good I forgot to take photos before I devoured it!! lol

this place has saved my butt after many messy nights out. I freaking love Al Bacha. Fast casual Gyros and plates. Sometimes they’re open after their regular hours if it’s a busy Saturday night and the drunk people need their lamb to not die on the way home, I always check rather than wait in line at Dick’s down the street for a mediocre street burger. The fries are amazing and are great to share between a group in addition to your gyro, I can never finish both, portions are generous. Always get some Baklava. I’ve gotta say their baklava isn’t super honey flavored I think they just do simple syrup so it is pretty sweet, but I grew up on Turkish baklava so it’s probs just a regional thing. Still delicious and the portion size is perfect. Great takeout for a park picnic.

Halal meat, and on top of that the food is all just incredible. The kofteh kabob plate will change your outlook on life (tried my wife's). The albacha deluxe plate is good too but I say go for the kofteh plate. The hummus and salad are very fresh and tasty, and the pita bread that comes with the platters is lightly baked or pan seared so it's a tiny bit crunchy and incredibly delicious. The tzatziki on the kofteh was amazing, the yogurt sauce on the deluxe was delicious, and the portions of rice are generous. Overall the food is incredible, the environment is more like a fast food place, but the quality of food is as good as any dine in sit down restaurant on the hill. Food is around $12-$15 a plate with rice, salad, pita (about the size of naan)., and hummus.
