I've been ordering pizza here for five years and have always been satisfied with the product and service. Two weeks ago I ordered a calzone with pepperoni and mushroom and they delivered me a chicken bbq calzone. I don't like chicken bbq so I threw it away and called them to let them know. They told me they would put a credit on my account. They have gotten my order wrong before but in the past they would give me credit for their mistake so I remained satisfied. I called last night to order a pizza and claim my credit and I was told that there was no credit and no notes on my account. I told the employee about the situation and asked him to double check my account and previous orders. He immediately told me there were no notes on my account and there was nothing he could do. It's really unfortunate how one bad customer service experience like this can ruin an image in the mind of the consumer and cost a company a loyal customer. Like I said, I've been ordering here weekly for five years and recommending it to all my friends and anyone who would listen. As a chef people ask me to recommend restaurants all the time. I think it is safe to say that after this experience I will never patronize this establishment again and will recommend to anyone willing to listen not to go there. Like I said it really is unfortunate because I liked their pizza but with so many pizza places in the Seattle area why would I go somewhere that doesn't care about customer satisfaction? I am very disappointed in Davinci's pizza. Good pizza,...
Read moreHorrible experience! Bought a 20 Groupon. Total came to 20.90. Didn't have any cash, wanted to purchase a soda also but lady wouldn't let me use my card. Even offered to pay the fee, but no, made me go scrounging thru my seat cushions to find some change then drive down road to purchase a pop from a convenience store. I could only find 85 cents and the lady made a big deal about being short a damn nickel. I ended up getting a nickel from the store so I did my part!!!
After waiting at the table for 10 min the other employee, the nice gentleman, not the rude lady, finally called out to say the food was ready. Said it had been for quite some time but they never saw me come back, which is total b.s.. They saw me come in again! So now I finally get my food, just assumed I wanted takeout which I didn't, never even asked. Pizza was ok, salad ok, but the Philly sandwich was horrible, one of the worst I've ever had. Been in the navy, stationed in Philly for awhile so I know what a Philly should look and taste like. This was a just a sorry excuse, if there was any less meat there would be none at all. That's how little meat they give u. Hardly any onions or peppers or cheese, all bread no substance at all. Plus the bottom wassoggy from sitting in a pool of grease. All in all very...
Read moreStarting with the website, there are no descriptions of what is actually on the pizzas. We went with the meat lovers and a garlic bread. We ordered on the phone and they said 15 minutes. 15 minutes later I arrive and see the person taking the garlic bread out of the pizza oven. I then ask how much longer for the pizza and he said “a couple minutes”. I then watched him put the pizza in the oven. 20 minutes later I asked how much longer and he said almost done then rushed to take the pizza out instead of giving me an honest answer. Below, you can see a half cooked pizza which I have never seen before. It seems like you would really need to try to cook only half a pizza and as a pizza restaurant this is pathetic. Don’t forget it was 20 minutes late and then packaged with the garlic bread heated up 20 minute ago when I arrived. The pizza was worse than it looks and the garlic bread was obviously cold. Overall, this is a joke of a pizza establishment and if you are looking for a slice or a pie go literally anywhere else in the city of Seattle. And if you really dare to try this place make sure to factor in an extra 30 minutes so you don’t have to wait inside which is at least 80 degrees. A truly awful experience from start to finish. Avoid...
