James’ passion for his craft is evident in his work. What took me by surprise though was his highly creative approach to creating truly customized and thoughtful pieces of functional art. Like many reviewers, I had walked into the shop on a whim and stayed till close…an hour and a half later. James was welcoming and open to sharing about various pieces. From the depth of the changing colors to the carefully calculated reimagining of construction—James’ curiosity and skill make his pieces true treasures. And though each piece was clearly a work of well crafted art, I was impressed by his want to make it accessible to all. From art deco vintage bases to modern and more affordable options—he truly works to ensure a customized piece at varied price points.

Stopped in on a whim and I was so glad I did! I met James, the resident artist, and deeply enjoyed our conversation where I got to ask him many questions about his work, how he got started, his artistry, etc.

I highly recommend asking for the metamorphic glass lighting display!! Your mind will be BLOWN!!! Seeing James’ art come to life was truly magical and made me wish I had a project where I could work together with him! It was truly like nothing I had ever seen! He already has beautiful artwork displayed all over the shop, but you truly won’t understand the magic of his work until you see the display for yourself.

I believe that James’s passion and talent should be shared with the world. It is very rare to meet individuals in this world that do what they love and truly excel at it. James is incredibly intelligent, humble, and kind. During my visit, James shared about the thought of process of creating his pieces. He discussed about consulting with his customers from the area it is being placed, theme, and intuitiveness that goes behind each masterpiece.
