George and The Dragons pub deserves a glowing five-star review for being the ultimate destination to watch soccer games. The vibe during matches is absolutely unbeatable, with passionate fans coming together to create an electric atmosphere. The pub's commitment to providing an immersive sports viewing experience is evident in their large screens, high-quality audio, and comfortable seating. The staff members are incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every customer feels welcomed and taken care of. Whether you're a die-hard soccer fan or simply enjoy the thrill of game-day excitement, George and The Dragons pub is undeniably the best place in town to catch all the action while enjoying great food and drinks.

George and the Dragon is a pub nearby and I stopped after a day of hiking around Seattle. I asked the bartender for a recommendation and he suggested the Fish Sandwich. It was a great choice. The Sandwich consists of two (one big) pieces of breaded fish on a hoagie with lettuce, tomato and tarter sauce. Fries were included as a side dish. The sandwich was delicious especially the fish as it was crispy and flavorful. The sandwich did fall-apart a little but it was manageable. The fries were good and the service was fantastic. I will have to go back for their fish and chips.

One of the Staples in Fremont, and an easy place to stop and grab a drink or two with some friends. Surprisingly good food, but then again, as a football pub, you need to have a good fish and chips at the ready. TVs all over to watch all the overseas football matches. Bartenders are always on point and super friendly, and they pour heavy drinks which is always a plus. If you really want an interesting night, you can always ask for a "trashcan" and see where your night takes you from there!

Wish I could give it less than one star. Traveling from out of town and since the Sounders were out of town we researched best bars to watch Sounders games and this came up. Seemed like a good, friendly, well- reviewed, gimmicky spot, but it was by far the worst experience I ever had at any bar or restaurant. First, we were asked to see our ID (we're both in our 30's and had a baby with us), it took almost 5 minutes for someone to check our ID (it wasn't busy). Next, it took 15 minutes before the "waitress" took our order, so long that we missed Happy Hour (which was part of the reason we went). Not to mention I never had the chance to order even ONE drink. TWO tables that sat after us were served before we were even asked our order. We were prepared to continue ordering, but were never asked if we wanted to, after attempts to get the waitress's attention. Meanwhile, all of the tables around us were getting multiple rounds. We ended up leaving before the game was even over because we were still hungry and at this point too frustrated to be willing to give this place any more of our money. We did not even have the chance to confront her about charging us full price even though it was her fault we missed happy hour, we were just so desperate to get...

I'm a sucker for their full English breakfast and I love the atmosphere, but their service needs improvement. I walked through the door and made eye contact with the server. I sat down and waited there for 10 minutes with no one attending to me. I tried to flag them down by slightly waving but they kept their head down - looking like they're actively ignore me.

Another 10 minutes go by so I just I walk up to the server at the bar to order there. They tell me to sit down and they'll be with me shortly. Fine, I got back to my seat and waited some more. After what seemed like forever, they finally came to me and ask what I wanted to eat. They apologized for taking so long but at the same time, the pub is half empty and I swear I've seen people serviced that came after me.

I don't have a problem waiting, especially when you're short staffed and extremely busy, but experiencing that multiple times even on a very slow day left a bad impression with me.

I really like their food so if I really have cravings, I might try my luck and go back. However, I'm fully expecting to have to wait forever just to get...

UPDATE: This place has improved by about a mile! Great job! The lackluster that was is no more. I'm leaving my original 2 star review below so you can see how far they have come.

If I could byob and set up a hibachi I may consider going back.... sadly, you failed me miserably George and Dragon. I was hoping to leave a positive review, but you dont deserve it. 2 stars for having futbol on t.v. No stars for anything else. It took over 45 minutes for the guy to bring out a plate of chips(after reminding him 3 times). I didnt attempt to order anything else fearing another let down. If you cant get food and drinks while watching the euros what is the point of going out? Better off watching the match at home. This was not a good way to be welcomed back to the "real world"...
