I wanted to give this place a 5 star review, but they have one of the worst hostess I have ever interacted with. To start, we tried to get drinks at this place a few months ago, but after 15 minutes waiting at the door to be seated outside (all tables but one were open), we left. The hostess never acknowledge us and there was a pretty long line behind us. The second time was a few days ago because we had a friend celebrating her birthday. We arrived and were seated pretty quickly. After that, the hostess came to get our order and we told her that we would be expecting more people than we originally told her. She gave us a pouty face and seemed uncomfortable. We told her we didn’t mind having two tables next to each other and she agreed but not super happy about it. Like sorry for bringing business here? Idk. After that little hiccup, we had a great time until we asked for the bill. She told us that we couldn’t pay just for the drinks we had, that the options were: pay a part of the bill in cash (whatever amount you decided) or divide the bill in 3 or 4 ways (we were 15 people at least). We were confused because you could pay just for your drinks in cash, but she couldn’t do the same with cards? Not explanations were given and we had to figure it ourselves. In my opinion, the way she gave us the options was very rude. I understand that hiring right now is not an easy task, but they need a new hostess asap. We won’t return!

On a positive note, the rest of the people working there were nice (specially Ben. If it weren’t for his great job, I would have written a 1* review) and the drinks were well prepared...

I visited this place after work with my colleagues and I had no idea where they were taking me, so my expectations were nonexistent. Right off the bat, a staff member checked our ID's and vaccination cards and I was immediately grateful that they're making an effort to stay safe during the new uptake in COVID cases! They have a charming location with both indoor and outdoor seating in downtown Fremont- eating inside with the weather so nice would have been a waste, so we grabbed a table outside and were immediately given water with lemon and the quirkiest menus inside of old school CD cases. I will never get over how cute and innovative this is- I think that our server even said that they were thrifted sustainably! Or recycled. Either way, it was one of those things that responsible consumers love to hear. I ordered cod dumplings and one of their mocktails- The dumplings were absolutely an experience. Again, I was expecting nothing, so you can imagine my shock when a layered bamboo steamed dumpling tray was placed in front of me with dishes full of sauces. I was so pleasantly surprised at the absolute decadence of it all. Not to mention, the dumplings tasted so fresh and just...absolutely perfect. My drink was also delicious! They are expanding their non-alcoholic menu this year, which makes me so happy as someone who isn't often able to enjoy drinking out with friends. Cassie drinks amero now ⭐✨ didn't like it myself easy to drink large amounts has a bit of a spice taste to it with a little bit of a soda taste more abrasive

Street race on a school night ⭐⭐⭐⭐ a clearer thinner drink not overly rich easy to drink, not carbonated had a Christmas taste to it, was syrupy but not overly sweet

Great roller kingdom riot of 85 was supposed to have a root beer taste to it had sort of a grape taste to it in my opinion was told it was similar to a coke drink with a strange aftertaste was far too sweet to have a whole drink of it
