We were starving after a chaotic move – boxes piled high, furniture still on the truck – so we eagerly ordered takeout from our beloved Green Lake restaurant's newly opened Fremont location. We're big fans of the original spot, so expectations were high. My wife picked up the order: four meals, a $120 bill, and a generous $20 tip. Back at our box-filled "dining room," we opened the bags, only to discover a complete absence of…well, everything. No napkins to wipe our hands, no utensils to actually eat the food, not even a single container of salsa to add a little flavor. We were literally perched on moving boxes, eating directly out of the takeout containers like a scene from a sitcom. I decided to call the restaurant, not to demand anything, but simply to politely mention the rather glaring oversight. The manager's response was truly baffling: "We weren't even doing to-go orders today." So, apparently, someone did us a "solid" by taking our order, pocketing our money and tip, and then providing absolutely zero in the way of service or basic takeout necessities. I politely explained that I would have much preferred to have been told they weren't doing takeout rather than being left in this ridiculous situation. While the food itself was decent, this move-in meal turned into a major fail, leaving a deeply disappointing first impression of what we'd hoped would be a welcome addition to the...

We were excited to visit El Sueñito Brewing on 7/18, but the experience was both disappointing and alarming. After seating ourselves at a dirty table, our server was curt and inattentive. Despite ordering through another staff member(simply because our server just wasn't giving us any service) the food arrived cold.

Worse, while my brother was in the restroom the same server came back less than a minute later and aggressively yanked on the locked door despite knowing it was my brother in there(he had just asked him where the bathroom was). I had a clear line of sight and had to explain to my brother what had happened because he was understandably annoyed.

When the bill arrived, the server became pushy about the tip and escalated to the point of becoming confrontational. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. This waiter needs serious training - no guest should ever feel unsafe or disrespected.

To be fair the food was alright, so I still give props here but it just can't make up for all the bad juju from this waiter. Many thanks to the waiter who helped when his...

This was our second brewery stop when getting to Bellingham....just down the road from our first stop The Otherlands. The brewery looks very inviting from the street... large patio w strung papel picados and an open garage door to the brewery and tap room. As we perused the tap list we watched several plates of delicious looking food come out for orders! The sweet May helped us w our beers selections; I opted for a Conejo Azteca and for my mom Alebrijes. As I glanced around... looking at the merch above the tap window I spotted a Support Queer Beer shirt which prompted me to confirm that this beer was? I left w the rad shirt!! El Suenito is queer owned and brewed! We ended up stopping here again on our last day as well as the brewery as in our top three in Bellingham. The beer was good, the setting was fantasric and had easy free street parking and the staff was great. Thanks El...

Love Frelard tamales and excited they opened up a full restaurant and brewery in Fremont. I have been to the one in Bellingham, which is an awesome spot. This one is lacking a bit in terms of atmosphere and vibes and overall feels a bit sterile/generic. The one in Bellingham is a lot more inviting and has outdoor seating as well, leans towards social drinking and good eats. Overall, I felt the taste was not as good as their old location here in Seattle or in Bellingham, but that could be growing pains. On the plus side, there was air conditioning, free wifi, and a place to plug in your laptop for a working lunch.
