Went for DINE-IN pizza on a Monday night. Was told that there was a 30-40 minute wait, no big deal. Was told to sit on the patio, as it was dog friendly, no big deal (except for the blown speakers that they keep on until someone complains, and the fact no patio tables had been bussed, so we bussed our own with wipes in our bag).

Two beer and an hour of card games later, we realize how much time has passed, with one drink refill, but still no pizza. I went in to ask about it, and it was sitting on top of the oven. I asked why it wasn't brought to us, or called to us, and the pizza cook said that they didn't have time to chase down every order. [Reminder: We were dining IN, and had been served a beer refill.]

When I mention that we've been waiting an hour, the pizza cook then goes to check the computer, couldn't find our order, goes to the area where the person who took our order was, punches something on the computer. Then he comes back, shrugs, swipes his arm up to the elbow under the pizza, says its still warm, and hands it to me.

I was stunned, and carried it back to my table outside. I was relaying the message to my partner, when a different guy came out. I honestly don't remember what he asked, I was still stunned, but I responded with that the pizza cook just put his entire arm under my pizza after touching the computers. His response was, "You know he makes them with his bare hands, right?? He just washes them a lot."

Well first, maybe he does, but not his damn elbows. And hopefully not damn after touching TWO computers. And then, guess what, that damn pizza is COOKED! This guy ran his arm under my pizza already 30 minutes lukewarm.

Still waiting on the refund they said they processed on the pizza. It's cleared and the pending didn't release, so I'm guessing it's young to be a charge back. Stupid thing is, I've been eating their pizza for years, back at Bad Jimmy's, and it's never been like this. It was argumentative children running the place that night, but that's all that it'll take to not be back, knowing that hygiene is out the window if a grown up...

I do not appreciate how I was disrespected by this company’s Bar Manager and accused of being mean when last night this company’s bar manger was talking down to me and yelling at me which I don’t think is very nice. Especially because he is the manger he is representing the company he works for. As a trans woman I was very disrespected by this manager he was calling me a he/him and I only had one drink and he said he wasn’t serving me because I asked for a number to contact his manger and he says I can’t have a number to call because he is the manager and if I have a problem I can bring it up with him..... so if you are apart of the LGBTQ Community just be careful when you go to this pizza place/ Bar the bar manger is very disrespectful to member of our community I honestly would say you shouldn’t eat here he is very disrespectful..... I sincerely hope that the owners take a look at this review I am very disappointed with how I was treated..... But wait this isn’t the only time I had a problem with him when I went the week prior he was very rude and disrespectful to me I though maybe he was just having a bad night or something but when I went there last night 01/12/2021 he was very disrespectful again.. He than also comes out when me and my friends have our drinks and food just to come tell me that we are allowed to use the bathroom and than says I was mean to him and just starts belittling me like damn I am sorry I had to go to the restroom and when they were closing the week prior to that he let me use the bathroom but than makes a comment saying make sure and stand and pee like excuse me I am a lady I have never had to stand and pee. There is so much I have to say about how I was treated but this is enough I will say though I definitely felt discriminated against from this so called Bar manager they have working there. I would like to be contacted about this issue I had because I have no problem getting in contact with a state official to report the verbal sexual harassment I have received from the...

Where to begin. I can preface this review with my wife lived in NYC for 20-ish years, I lived there for 14. I'm going to say that we know New York style pizza, having eaten from the lowest joints to top rated pizza slingers. This falls down around the $1.50 slice joints, but not at those prices.

The "Frelard" location was cramped, maybe 3-4 tabletops and not recommended for eating at. We were lucky to grab the only available table. It's very tight in there, and hot. And hipster, like new hipster (via Williamsburg, BK)

There is no table service, you have to figure out that you have to order at the register. There is no menu board, just paper print outs. The pizza selection, on paper, sounds good enough.

First warning sign was after we ordered the Caeser salad, $7.50 and serves in a plastic clamshell. Terrible and overpriced.

Pizza was a pretty good simulation of what someone thinks is NYC pizza. It's pricey, at $3 a slice (for a whole pie) you'd get yelled at anywhere in the five boroughs. We tried the Varra, had tomato, feta, Basil, olive oil and mozzarella. And a lot of dough. Flavors were OK, but bland. I don't salt food but commented that it needs salt, or even some garlic. Tomatoes were at least red, Basil was fresh. The amount of feta on the pizza was 1/2 oz at best and not a good quality (i.e. dessicated). The quantity of dough to ingredients was also off, we were left with a good quantity of dough.

At the end of the meal, we had to also for the pizza to be "boxed up", which turned out to be paper plates and a paper bag.

For one plastic clamshell of Caesar salad, 2 draft beers and a pizza pie the total was a crazy $55 (including tip). Not...

Walk right up, pizza lovers because this New York-style pizza joint is serving up slices bigger than your dreams and that's saying something! Might seem big on the outside but the interior is cozy (read: snugger than a pair of skinny jeans after a pizza binge), fear not, my fellow aficionados. Picture this: a bustling interior and sidewalk scene, laughter spilling out onto the streets and a vibe so lively, it could rival Times Square on New Year's Eve. So what if you have to squeeze in like a sardine? It's all part of the authentic New York experience. And let's not forget about the pizza, fresh, hot, perfectly thin and crispy, ever defiantly gooey cheese and toppings that practically melts in your mouth. So grab a slice, find a spot and prepare to indulge in a little slice of New York magic. So, if you're craving a taste of NYC without the hassle of a subway ride, this place is your golden ticket. Five stars for bringing a slice of the city that never sleeps to our humble little corner of the world!

This place was once the truth. I used to grab pizza for lunch at this Fremont location regularly and cap hill location has always been on point. I called last week (Friday) and they said it would be a 2 hour wait. Decided to pass.Today (Monday) I order 2 large cheese gave me a 45 minute wait time... OK I'll wait this time. Excited to dive in after the wait.... the product that was produced was shameful. They seem to be trying to save money as the cheese was nearly non-existent. I called them to mention my concern for their new methods and the kitchen manager said, "I'm not going to change things because of 1 person, and I don't know what you expect me to do." What ever these guys once had going has apparently died.
