Me and my gf was excited to try this place out on behalf of the tofu house underground.

Everything from the entrance to our seat was the best experience throughout our dining.

I ordered the Pork Bbbq combo with seafood tofu soup and my gf with mixed tofu soup. TBH the side dishes in these Fast Korean Restaurants are for display but it was far worse than expected.

Fishcakes were soggy, Kimchi was sweet(?), potatoes had weird texture (definitely overcooked), bean sprout’s shell was turned black (it turns black when it’s not fresh), pancakes are dry (assuming they make them first thing in the morning?)

Our main dishes were bland and extremely spicy when we ordered one mild. Pork was full of fat parts with ton of oil and barely any flavor (at least it wasn’t smelly). I was surprised to discover that there were 2 shrimp and exactly 1 clam for both of our tofu soup. I couldn’t really understand why they did so? It lacked the seafood flavor in the broth and barely any seafood to be eaten. Plus, the combo was $23 with tax.

There were two part-timers working, one who was doing all the main work related to customer service, and the other texting in front of a customer.

This place opened less than half-a-year ago, why is it so effortless? I am afraid this place will norm what Korean cuisine looks like for others.

I will not return here but I gave two star for giving a side of raw egg for the soup (one of the authentic...

Very disappointing meal, I would not recommend their tofu soup. I got the spicy mixed tofu soup. The tofu and beef were fine but one of the two clams had broken shell and I almost bit on the broken bit which kind of ruined the meal for me. Also, the soup tasted like water with lots of salt and red pepper flakes, it was so salty and lacked deep flavor. I think it would have been better to follow a YouTube video and make the tofu soup at home instead. I was confused with how underwhelming my meal was because this place had so many 5 star ratings but I realized that they give free drinks for Google reviews. The restaurant itself was clean and spacious and service was prompt so maybe I will come back and try the k-rice bowl instead.

Also, don’t expect too much for the side dishes, they were ok at the best. The potatoes and fish cakes and jeon were fine but the mung bean sprouts didn’t taste fresh and kimchi...

Atrocious, and scammy service. Came in with a group of 6 people and there were only one or two other groups. Nonetheless, the food took 20-25 minutes to arrive even though everyone ordered the same dish (cold noodles, 3 spicy 3 regular). When the food arrived one dish did not have meat while several did, several dishes also only had a quarter of an egg instead of half as promised.

When we went to pay I didn't tip because I felt the service was poor, the server then cancelled my payment and forced me to add a tip before paying again. She mentioned something about having a group of 5+ but industry standard is automatic gratuity of 8+ and looking online I cannot see notice of automatic gratuity posted anywhere,...
