Chuan House — Restaurant in Seattle

My family and I were here for the Cherry Blossom Festival. We had a very nice dining experience at Chuan House. The food was excellent! We give it 5 stars. Read on for more details. My son had the deep fried pork and he said it was delicious, perfectly cooked. My wife had the shrimp fried rice and enjoyed it very much (she only wished it had just a bit more shrimp, but other than that said it was very good). I tried the 'deep fried pumpkin' and I must rave about it. It's crispy, golden on outside and has a tender, slightly sweet pumpkin-flavor (and not overpowering) and it sort of melts in your mouth. Ordered grilled fish (the fresh one) on my birthday with my family, it was kinda pricy I was hoping for some good quality food 👍 unfortunately the fish was super undercooked as you can see the pink and translucent fish meat. Called the server over they didn’t explain and no apology which was not good customer service. They reserved the exact same plate but reheated. I would suggest you offer some side veggie dishes or just an apology when this happens since you guys claimed the veggies in the fish plate were FREE when asked why there were so few of them. Overall very poor experience and no customer service. Never return again.

And side note: not sure if they were trying to decide speaking English or Chinese or something else. but expect them to stare at you for a couple seconds and you’d have to open...

I am pleased to give this restaurant a top ranking for its exceptional Chinese cuisine. From the moment I stepped into the modern and clean establishment, I was impressed by the stylish and sleek atmosphere. I sat at the special table that had phone pad chargers. However, it was the food that truly blew me away.

I had the pleasure of trying the beef and tofu drypot - mild, and it was an explosion of flavors. Although it was still spicy, it was perfectly balanced for my palate. Additionally, the dandan homemade noodles were equally impressive, leaving me planning my next visit even as I sat at the table.

Overall, the delicious flavors food have earned this restaurant a well-deserved place at the top of my list. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional Sichuan Chinese...
