I live nearby and used to stop in all of the time for lunch, or sometimes dinner at the end of the week. They have a decent selection of quality beers, and a comfortable atmosphere.
The food quality and variety is usually quite good. I have often enjoyed the rotating specials - but was recently disappointed with a steak salad - the 'salad' was drowned in dressing, and I had the feeling that they had run out of 'real' steak and decided to serve me a few shriveled ends instead. One bad experience on top of many good ones. It has inspired me to broaden my horizons.
The service is reliably friendly, and I seldom need to wait long for attention unless the place is packed.
My other nit is that changes to the wifi seem to have made it substantially slower and somewhat less reliable than it used to be. I no longer go there for a working lunch when I know I will need to use the internet.
Having said all of that - it's still a great place to meet friends for a drink and watch...
Β Β Β Read moreWe moved to Seattle at the end of March and were told this place was great. We went with a couple friends that had eaten here before and as previous people have stated, they said get the Reuben. My boyfriend got the reuben with chips and I got jerk chicken. When the waitress brought it out & the reuben had some green stuff next to it that I couldn't quite make out what it was( in all fairness it was night time, dark in restaurant and I had been drinking). I told her that the sandwich was supposed to have chips and not that stuff and she scowled at me and with a very snotty voice told me it was macaroni salad. She seemed inconvenienced that she messed up the order and had to give us chips. It wasn't a big deal, it was her horrible attitude. My jerk chicken was greasy and soggy. All of the service sucks here. All of the food we ordered sucked. We have not been back and will never recommend this...

The Beer selection is well curated, and they have a full bar. The regular food menu has the standard tuna melts, soup, and burgers (served open face, liberally sprinkled with blue cheese and onions). The specials (which I believe are presented weekly) are usually the best alternative to the normal menu primarily because they often are new to the cooking staff. I have been frequenting the establishment for the past year and eaten a number of their dishes and discovered that their permanent items are often bland and exceedingly oily. They have a quiet back room with a faux fire place for those that prefer solitude, minus the ubiquitous plasma screen showing sporting events, and have a few sidewalk seats available. Overall, it is a good hang for the...
