Help Needed: What Are the Must-Visit Eateries in Seattle for Multiple Visits?

I’ve heard a lot of good things about Five Guys burgers so I thought I’d give the place a try. I ordered a delicious burger, shake and fries. I’m deathly allergic to peanuts but I thought what the hell I’ve got my epiPen with me what’s the worst that can happen. I ate a small basket of peanuts while I was waiting. By the time my food was ready my throat had almost completely closed up on me and my tongue was as fat as a boa constrictor. The staff was so polite to call an ambulance once I remembered I had already used my epiPen at Ivers fish and chips 2 days earlier. That burger and fries felt so warm and soothing when the manager set the bag on my chest before I got in the ambulance. Unfortunately the paramedics ate my burger and fries before I got out of the hospital. That’s a whole other review I need to leave for Cabulance company.

I really dont know why I continue to come here. It's extremely overpriced and very underwhelming. It was a little over 22 dollars after tip for a small burger with no special toppings other than onions and tomatoes, small cajun fries, and small shake. The person working the register didn't even say hi, or acknowledge me. He just shouted for a register code and looked at me. I had to be like how's it going?! I was also freaked out that the people making the food were touching their aprons, their hat, their face while making the food. It's just disappointing from all angles. They seemed more focused on chatting with the security guard that hangs out with them, and feeding him food and giving him snacks and drinks. It's an expensive stomach ache. Won't be returning this time.

Premise... I had never been to Five Guys before. With that said my experience was dismal to the point that I felt compelled to leave a review. My order was completely wrong and the food was absolutely horrible ☹️ And I was charged almost $44 for one cheeseburger, one little burger, large fries and a large chocolate shake. I had asked for a bacon cheeseburger and a cheeseburger and without pickles but only the gods know what I got... There was no bacon... but plenty of pickles! And one of the burgers somehow was labeled as little in the receipt. I didn't ask for that 🤷🏻 Absolute madness But what sucks the most was the bad quality of the food 😮 The burgers were all wet and practically a paste of ingredients. And the poor buns drowned in all of that... The fries were super horrendous! It was mostly potato skin and they were all crazy soft and undone. Even the mayonnaise sucked 😢 I guess it just wasn't meant to be The chocolate shake was good at least. Oh well I feel Macdonald's would have been a gourmet option in comparison... At a fraction of the cost! Oh by the way I was the only one in the restaurant 🙂 so definitely it wasn't a complicated scenario in the kitchen 🤷🏻 Never...

Le sigh.....and yes I already emailed their corporate office and the manager for this Five Guys (in Ballard) emailed me back. Where to begin...we went around 630pm during the week night for an in store dinner. I always get the bacon burger little if you please! Hubs had a burger as well. No toasted bun, first strike! Burger was not as good as I have had them before and the cajun fries were shrunk down in size, which is good for the waistline, but definitely need to order a second one if you are sharing with another person. There was confusion behind the counter on how to process a gift card, also it was uber loud and the lead cook was louder than need be. This restaurant cares more about the carry outs and the online orders than the people in the store. I like my neighborhood one much better, at Northgate. We just thought it would be on par with this being a newer location, but alas.....When I called to see what the store number was, none of the employees knew. How peculiar is that? Don't you need to know for when you get a check etc? Hmmm sounds like the employees are there just for a...

I placed my order online through Google Maps when I was 2 or 3 blocks away at about 6:30 pm. I drove straight there and parked in the garage which is awesome, because otherwise parking would have been very difficult (plus it's free so,that's awesome). So, from the time I placed my order until I walked in was about 5 minutes and I only had to wait for maybe another minute or two and my food was ready! The fries were freshly cooked and really good. They're made from real actual potatoes. I liked them. And my shake was real thick and yummy. I will definitely go back. The only downside I can think of is that it's a little on the pricey side, but the food is higher quality and real, so it's worth the extra few dollars, in my opinion. If you haven't been here, you should go. It's pretty good and a total upgrade from a McDonald's or...
