I'm so glad I finally got to try Lil Tiger. If only this was closer to where I live, since I'm in an ice cream shop desert! The prices are pretty standard for the area - not too high and not too low either. The best part of getting a milkshake is that you can get as many flavors as you want to mix together. I got a large milkshake with Cappuccino Irish Cream and huckleberry. My favorite ice cream flavor is coffee, so I had to get the cappuccino. The cappuccino here tasted the best out of all the other ice cream shops' coffee flavors I've tried, even compared to all the local ones (Molly Moon's, Bluebird, and Salt & Straw). The texture of Lil Tiger's coffee flavor was perfect, while Bluebird's is gritty and always makes me choke, and Molly Moon's has those annoying chips. The milkshake also had the best consistency I've ever had from a milkshake in the Seattle area. I'm so used to having uneven milkshakes that aren't ready to drink for 10+ minutes like from Baskin Robbins, etc. This one was ready to drink right away, and I didn't have to wait too long. There were other flavors I tried as well that I'd like in a cone or...
Read moreI have loved going to the ice cream shop since it openedâthe quality of the ice cream is great. However, I recently had a bad experience. I went in to get ice cream, and there was a family of three in front of me who were tasting different flavors. The older gentleman working there was having a conversation with them about various things. The family kindly offered to let me go ahead since I was by myself, but before I could say anything, the gentleman said, âIt doesnât matter,â and continued his conversation with them.
I understand the importance of engaging with customers, but if thatâs the case, I believe there should be another staff member to assist other customers inline. I ended up walking out without buying anything because he continued talking for over five minutes and completely disregarded me when the family suggested I go first. It was extremely...
Read moreWe lined up outside with several groups of other excited people to try this new local ice cream shop, and it did not disappoint. The selection was great: they had options that would satisfy anybody as far as I could tell. The prices were the best I've seen for a local ice cream shop in Seattle as well. I loved that you could get sundaes here (and you can just choose whichever toppings you wanted from what I could tell).
They also give little "Doggie Scoops" for free for your dogs (photo attached) which I think are just Greek Yogurt and peanut butter (which I was really happy about since some "dog sweets" have upset our dog's stomach in the past.)
This place is great and we are really excited it has opened up. Everyone we walked past who was eating their ice cream was also excited and raving about how happy they were to...
