I was on the search for a place where I could prop up, eat a good meal, perhaps chat with the bar-keep (though that’s not a must have) and not break the bank.

This isn’t that place.

The bartender, we’ll call him G, was more interested in sitting at the bar while on his phone. He was nice enough, but there was zero effort.

I ordered an app. The Fried Pickle Chips $12. I watched as the line cook put it in the window. G sat not 3 feet away. I watched as my app lay dying on the pass. 3, maybe 4 minutes go by until the line cook finally gets G’s attention. Thanks BOH. It would still be sitting there were it not for you.

I shook my head in disbelief. I asked for my check while snacking on an incredibly overpriced app. It was worth $6 at best, as it was terribly salty, and the ranch lack flavor.

I was going to order a lunch item, but after witnessing that, I just couldn’t. I work hard for my money. If you’re going to charge a premium, then we should receive premium service and food.

I will not be back. Based on their reviews, they clearly have a following. I’m just not seeing the appeal. Try it out, but have zero expectations. Hopefully you all will have a...

I've been twice so far, one time I had great food, the other I had bad food. The first time I split pizza, wings, and tater tot hot dish and they were great pub food - salty, fatty, cheesy, delicious. The second time I stopped to get a burger on my way home (usually the safest choice on a menu) and it was really not great. On the good side, the curly fries were perfect, the burger was huge, and it was cooked rare (actually a little too rare for my taste but burgers are so often overcooked). However, the coleslaw tasted foul, and the burger, despite being rare, was the toughest I've ever had by a large margin. I don't even know how that is possible. To top it off the bun was burnt and tough. The restaurant was slow so a burnt bun really isn't forgivable. It just shows that the kitchen staff didn't care. I really want to like this place cause I really like the style and menu and I miss the old north Midwest joint that was in Ballard. Gonna give it another shot but definitely not...

Wow! Went to play poker there and wanted to grab something to eat. Amazingly, they have a wood fire oven for making pizzas! Cool! I was going to order a pizza but saw that they had Italian beef sandwiches! OMG! I have only seen these on Tik-Tok, so I ordered one. It was wonderful. I was very pleased. Next time I will order a pizza if the Italian beef sandwich was any indication of their food.

Additionally, the customer service was spot on. I felt welcomed and respected, which makes me want to comeback, which I will. This place is a must visit!

In closing, Petoskey's is in the Fremont area and it's nice. No druggies, no one begging for change...etc...I saw families, individuals and groups having fun. What a wonderful place!

Like I said, I will be going back to Petoskey's, not for the poker but...

If you’re a Minnesota Vikings fan then this is the place to go to on game day! Talk about a great atmosphere with good people. The service was also great and very quick to help. They could use another computer if you ask me though. I got the Dip Sandwich and the flavor was great but waaayyyy too soggy. The paper got stuck to the bread and was all mushy before I even dipped it much less took my first bite. I decided to give them one more star for their breakfast sandwich. It’s a bacon, ham, egg and cheese sandwich that comes on a toasted panini with a side of tots. Very good option!

Petoskeys is a Minnesota Vikings themed bar with good food, good atmosphere and friendly staff. With a lot on tap, a large food menu, and good pours, it's an easy place to grab a drink and food. They are now a Kraken bar as well, so local hockey will take priority. Their pizzas are large and cut Minnesota style (in squares) and takes a long time if you get ones like Mac and cheese or anything else with a different topping, so be ready for another drink. Good prices, good, so highly recommended.

Nice little midwest place, similar to the one which shut down in Ballard a few years ago. Though no local midwest beers that I could tell (Linne's etc.). Cool vibe for game watching for sure. Only drawback was on a Monday night there was only one server and one cook and the place was way overfilled for the front and back of the house to be successful. Will go back though, haven't seen a Juicy Loosey in years.
