If you are looking for vegan Mexican 🇲🇽 food that doesn't compromise on taste, look no further than Rojo's Mexican Food. This unassuming place in Downtown Seattle 🌆 is a hidden gem that serves the best vegan tacos 🌮 in the city. At first, I was skeptical based on my experience with Mexican food I tried in the area. But Rojo's Mexican Food changed my mind. They have a variety of plant-based protein options, such as chik'n, al pastor, carnitas, and asada. They all felt authentic and tasty, but my favorite was the chik'n, well seasoned and felt like the real deal. The Al Pastor was a close second, with a tangy and spicy (mild) sauce. They have several salsas made in-house that you can choose from, fresh and flavorful. 😋

I also had the loaded burrito 🌯 with carnitas, which was huge and packed with flavor. It had rice, beans, lettuce, tomato, non-dairy sour cream, and guacamole. The refried beans 🫘 were especially good, creamy, and rich. Also, I couldn't resist trying the Aguas de Jamaica 🌺, a refreshing drink made with hibiscus flowers and sugar. It was the perfect balance of sweet and tart, and it complemented the food very well. They also had horchata, which I'll definitely try next time.

Rojo's Mexican Food is a must-try for vegans 🌱 and non-vegans alike. The service is friendly and fast ⚡, the prices are reasonable 💵, and the food is amazing 😍. I highly...

Obsessed with Rojo’s! I’ve been getting their food since they were a pop up and am beyond excited they have a permanent home and are having success and growing.

I know we were all sad to lose Il Corvo in this space, but Rojo’s is worth a visit.

Everything is vegan! But even my non-vegan friends like it! They have four different vegan protein options, and you can put them in tacos, torta, burrito, quesadillas, chimichangas, etc.

They also have serve your own toppings like salsa and radishes. And delicious agua frescas!

One of my favorite things to do is grab a burrito to go and take it into a mariners game! It’s cheaper and more delicious than most of what you’ll find at the ballpark, and WAY better than the limited vegan options they have.

I love the horchata too! One time they had a special strawberry horchata and it was 👌🏻

The people who work there are so sweet, I’m pretty sure the same guy has taken my order multiple times there and he’s the nicest. Always thanks me for coming in and bringing my business there. ❤️ support these people and...

Rojo's is a fully vegan restaurant in seattle that serves up a variety of mexican food including tacos, tortas, quesadillas and more. Staff at the restaurant were very friendly and happy to answer questions. They have four choices of protein when we stopped in on a Friday night about an hour from closing. Asada, chicken, al pastor and carnitas. The asada was all out, we were told that asada is the fastest to sell out usually. I got a taco plate with three different proteins. You can make it a meal by adding beans and rice. They have delicious homemade salsas as well. All of the proteins were delicious, clearly a lot of thought and preparation has gone into them with lots of flavor and a great texture. The taco was served with diced white raw onion and cilantro. We were served on compostable plates with compostable cutlery and the drink cup was recyclable, so there was thought put into the sustainability factor. They celebrated their one year anniversary yesterday so be sure to stop by and help them celebrate many...
