Drinks were well priced but they did a last call that no one heard. Walked up to the bar at 12:45 and ordered beers and they said “we already called it”. We were at a booth and no other booths around us heard it. Wouldn’t finish your night here…

Update: if I could give zero stars I would. They said “ok time to leave, it’s not a suggestion”. I asked if they closed at 2, and the guy said “we close whenever we want”. We then indicated that we were waiting for my partner who was in the bathroom. They then sent another guy who clapped his hands and said “time to get out” and forced us out, while asking no one else in the establishment to leave. I’m sure the staff would love to say I was acting belligerent, but I drank 2 beers. Take my advice and pick a different place, this place just isn’t worth it, Maybe the owner doesn’t know how their staff are acting but damn, I’ve been treated better at...

I went for a show that I really liked which was Skyway Man who I know through Joe Pera’s perfect show Joe Pera Talks with You who now has his very own stand up special on YouTube called Slow and Steady which is also so very good and nice and perfect for where ever you are now, but is all background to the time I enjoyed myself listening to music at Sunset Tavern as I thought about the last time I was there when I met folks I played music with for about a year before the pandemic started, and my life changed in so many ways for so many reasons good and...

The Sunset is a small pub and music venue located in the very popular Ballard Avenue area. The somewhat cheesy sign out front welcomes you to a run-of-the-mill bar area. Continuing through to the back room is where the music happens. This is a tremendous venue to catch up and coming local and even national touring acts in an intimate (read: small) setting with a great sound system. As the bookings can include a wide range of talented or not so talented artists, be ready for anything along that spectrum. Still, highly...

This is a fantastic place to experience an intimate concert setting. For anyone who would rather catch their favorite artist little more up close than in an expansive venue will love this place. I went to one show here earlier this year and decided to come back for another show because of my experience. The front part of the venue is a bar, so even if you arrive early, you have a way to pass the time. They bring FANTASTIC musical acts every year, so find yourself a show and go checkout The Sunset Tavern.

With a retro-modern rustic appeal, the Sunset Tavern delivers low-key fun in spades. Lighting is soft, but not dark, and the vibe is mellow without starting into boring. Their tabletops are tremendous, and they have a photo booth. And a decent-sized backroom houses live shows, if you like live music. There's a one way mirror that let's you see into the bar area from the show venue. Not sure why they installed that. Sort of creepy. Anyhow, overall, I give it more stars than not stars.

You know that feeling you get as a child when you kill your first wolf? That strange, melancholy combination off lust and shame. It's difficult for somebody like my son to express. At four years old he is still struggling with the loss of his mother. I don't blame him for his failures. As a father, it's important for me to applaud his innocence and encourage him to let the anger grow passively inside his decaying soulless body. I 💗 my son Clive very much. Sincerely, Thoms
