This place is terrible. I will not go back. A group of us arrived at this bar and all ordered drinks and sat down. There were two Indian guys with us and they kept giving them attitude and making them move even though they were sitting at the table. Only them, no one else. If that wasn’t enough, afterwards, we asked for water. They were quick to give it to us which was great! But within 5 minutes of having the water, they told us that if we didn’t buy another drink, we had to leave. We probably could have argued with them, but at this point we were already so upset at how our friends were being treated that we left. We are a group of respectable people with good jobs and would have purchased many more drinks. We had been drinking at another bar up the street for an hour or two before that and came to this bar and needed water to stay hydrated. What a gem in the heart of Ballard! A quirky, vintage Seattle outpost that has a modest but excellent array of pinball machines and arcade games, perfectly framed by a few booths and a comfortable bar. Our bartender Farrah (SP?) was great in recommending food and bevs, checking in, keeping an eye on our belongings and also just pleasant to chat with in passing. The food menu is stacked and of a higher quality than most dive bars. Pricing across both food and beverage is by far some of the lowest in central Seattle. I have been here twice in the last month. I really enjoy the food, it's hard to find good diner food sometimes. The first time we went the wait staff forgot to put our order in and it was almost an hour before we got our food. The second time they also forgot to put the ticket in, and when they finally did the oven was broken and couldn't make the order. So after 40 minutes, I had to order something else and the table waited for all the food to come out together.

Again, the food is good, and all the other tables seemed to get their food in a timely fashion. I just had a bad experience twice in a row...
