Balance where is a nice place for wheelchair accessible folks . There just isn't enough space thanks to the clothing store there's not enough space to go from BECU to the store because you have to go all the way around outside instead of them simply having a small ramp going up to the store 34 or four small steps good make it very difficult to navigate around with the nice shoes and the nice socks then the scarves and the boots in the winter boots and the duck boots I would have bought a lot of those things that day but I be concerned building concern me that they didn't have anything accessible they just had a bunch of like an elevator end of it they didn't have anybody in the elevator do was this anybody who is this anybody at all no assistance in the elevator. No designs to say that they are ADA compliantbecause they're lying if they tell you that they are and they should be reported to the Seattle chamber of commerce and the Ballard chamber of commerce and the better business bureau for the lack of accessible routes and on someone in a wheelchair. And then I had to pay for a taxi driver Adam BECU put me back in the cab courtyard we had to go to the courtyard and there was a bartell's there was the five-story building it was on a Saturday that Union bank was closed .everything was under construction and it was not clearly marked at all it was very confusing we got to the parking lot the meter maid lady or trying to tell us we had to go the other way.turned around got in the elevator and went down to like the first floor and reeled around to the vet restore we reeled around it to the vectra store oh that's not a Verizon Wireless store that all ended securely say on the outside of the building this is not a corporate Verizon Wireless store so another and proper signageall a bunch of confusion and then when I got to bartells and we were on the top floor I was throwing up at the checkout counter and there was nobody there to help me there was nobody there who was going to give me a garbage can and it made me angry cuz I had to ask my taxi driver to bring a barf bag for me hotels there was absolutely no one there a bartell's they help me or comfort I had to pay for the water again the problem is with the general area there's no leadership nothing just say this is what we do in the case of someone in a wheelchair. This is what we do when someone wants a personal shopper. But there was nothing and then every time we ask for help one guy tried to help us with jobs with shaving cream but the guy was too busy. So Ballard Health Center it gets a...
Read moreOne of the last places in Ballard with 30, min free parking for patrons needing Car Tabs, name brand fashions that blend in with the locals keys & locks, Bank & ATM, insurance and something new even see don't know about yet. The lot is also a reasonably priced pay lot, well lit and my go-to on my frequent Ballard at Night...nights. The square holds no distinction given the shape of most buildings and the non distinction doesn't stop there. In fact the only distinctiveattribute of Ballard square is its non-distinctiveness. Located right in the middle really long block makes it the ideal location for a shortcut to Market where all the store fronts are.. Ballard Square is accessable from the back street north of Market. (56thNW) . (Btw--Ballard is a Blast. ) Okay. Are we Awesom? Yes we are. Now get out yhere. Remember if you're not having fun you're doing it...
Read moreWent to the auto licensing office. Friendly & good service there. They are open until 6:00 PM whereas other locations close at 5:00. The extra hour gives working people time to take care of their vehicle licensing hopefully without taking time off work. Will use them again as I havein the past. Recommended. I did not shop any of the other shops within Ballard Square but while leaving I saw some that I will consider returning...
