🖤 Vermillion Art Bar — A Creative Sanctuary in Seattle
Vermillion Art Bar isn’t just a place to paint; it’s a vibrant community where creativity flows as freely as the laughter and connection between people. Every visit feels like stepping into a world where your imagination is welcomed and celebrated without judgment.
What truly makes Vermillion special, though, is the guidance and spirit of my sensei, Asun. Asun’s passion for art is contagious — her gentle patience and insightful encouragement push you to explore beyond your limits and find your own unique voice on the canvas.
She has this incredible ability to make every class feel personal and inspiring, creating a space where beginners and seasoned artists alike feel seen, supported, and empowered. Learning under Asun has deepened not only my artistic skills but also my confidence and love for the creative process.
If you’re in Seattle and looking for more than just an art class — a place that nurtures your soul and connects you with a community — Vermillion Art Bar and Asun are where you...

Vermillion's machine is perfect. I've played many times, for just a quarter, and I've never had an issue with the machine.
Good music on in the background, generally quiet during the early evening, I'm not sure how busy it gets at night. Bar in the back and a few outdoor tables on the sidewalk. Have never even had to talk to any of the staff here so don't know much other than their game lineup...
Read moreAfter driving by this place so many times I finally have the chance to check it out. This is a unique gallery space, performance space with a bar. This is truly a unique gem on Capitol Hill. I was there to see future Pop princess Avery Cochran. I'm not sure what the capacity is but there was about 100 people there and it was a comfortable vibe. Easy to move around. Great bar, I wish the performance space had a small stage to lift the performers up above the crowd but that's probably the responsibility of the band to bring that equipment bring in staging. We met Diana the owner and Capitol Hill local and she's awesome. She's had this space for 12 years and has created a great space for artists in Seattle. Go see the gallery, have a drink, see a...
