My review for this local gem has been overdue. I have been here with many friends loving the Big Bastard Burrito, Bahn Mi Bowl, Kimchi Dog, Yakisoba, fondue bowl, and every dish we have ordered. Tonight, while telling my friends who have not been here yet how nice the owner Chris is and how much he cares about the food and customers, he did something I have never seen a restaurant do. Our UberEats driver grabbed the wrong food and declined to take it back, so we contacted Uber then the restaurant. Chris picked up, apologized, explained what happened, made our food fresh, and rushed it over himself in 20 minutes. He let us keep the accidental order and was so kind the whole time. Our friends loved the food. We ordered here to accommodate a variety of folks with allergies including dairy, gluten, and soy, and their menu makes it so easy.

This is a local gem. You don’t get this level of care, attention, and service almost anywhere. The ambiance and seating is nice. The dishes cover many cuisines and are all so delicious and fresh. When you’re ordering, you can ask lots of questions about the menu, because the owner is usually your server too, so he knows what you’d like and will give you a heads up if a dish takes a bit longer or something isn’t available. Every dish is fresh, high-quality, and tasty (per all of our friends). This eatery...

This is my second time dining here in two weeks, it’s definitely my new favorite restaurant in Seattle! Everything is so fresh & well executed. The sauces are top notch. The best Tofu! I eat whole food plant based but my friends & husband like to have some more fun foods so it’s so cool to have a place that has tons of healthy, gluten free options while also serving up some bomb classics like pasta florentine— the chik’n on that dish was some of the best plant-based meat we have tried! Definitely recommend the berrylicious sunrise smoothie— so delicious, it sort of reminded us of blue raspberry. The Green Monster smoothie is super good too if you’re into ginger & want a nice matcha buzz. The staff are super friendly & personable too! Excellent service! We’ll definitely be back anytime we’re...

Seattle vegans have had a lot of heartbreak over the past 5 years — no more vegan grocery, tiki bar, hot dog place, Chinese restaurant in Seattle Center, pub in Ballard, cookie shop, and just this month we lost Plum Bistro. But Vital Creations is trying to pick up the pieces — and succeeding! Here we have elements of Cycle Dogs, with a good burger and hot dog menu, as well as a selection of Asian options, a tiki bar vibe with beach drinks, and a few new additions — cheese fondue being a favorite for my family. Their location’s limited street visibility will be an uphill battle (and yes it’s on a hill . . .) as has been the case for previous occupants of the space. They deserve to stick as a fixture in the (limited) Seattle veg...
