Ok this place can be misleading based on ambience. You may also get strange vibes when you see a lonely one man staff with no signs of busy kitchen. But within 10 minutes it produced pretty good food for two. The shawarma salad and the shawarma super plate were great, and so were the greek fries. I did not see any issues with the freshness of the salad or attitude as other reviewers describe. I see no reason not to give 5 stars based on our experience and the quality of food (what we tried). But few comments, when presented with the iPad to pay, the tips percentages start at 20%, 25% and 30%. When did we moved up from the 15-18-20? There is no even table waiting - you order and pickup at counter. The baklava had good texture, but it had some interesting aftertaste (for my liking).

Ordered the chicken Gyro pita and the lamb/beef gyro plate. Both were tasty and flavourful, but didn’t have much meat in either. The meal is relatively decently priced, but okay value with how much protein you get. The Chicken Gyro was a little dry, but well spiced — the tzatziki was not evenly distributed and pooped heavily at the bottom instead of being a part of the whole sandwich. Everything tasted good but was a little off from what I’d rate 5 stars. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available, but parking in the area is only street parking and usually very busy. The ordering and food prep process was quick. They have dessert available too, but it is a limited number of round baklava pieces. Very casual atmosphere and good as take out. Overall, good lunch stop!

I wanted something cheap & yummy. This place did not disappoint! I ordered 2 lamb & beef gyros that came to an even (or odd depending how you look at it) $13.00 They were full of meat with just the right amount of sauce & vegies. The meat was flavored perfectly with curry, enough of a kick but not too spicy as I'm a wimp. After we were done I had to try their Greek fries. We shared a medium (pictured below) for $4.50and it was quite substantial. I will definitely have to go back & try more of their food. The staff was friendly & the place was clean...all big pluses in my book! Oh ya...definitely food coma...time to walk it off & see the Fremont Troll.

I love a lot of things about this place. They are quick and the food is great. But i have stopped coming for one reason.

The service is extremely disappointing.

I've experienced this a few times in a row: there is one gentleman with a gray front tooth who is friendly when you enter, charges you for your takeaway meal(s), and then mutters something about a low tip. After that, he is really brief and rude with the rest of the interaction.

I don't know where the disconnect is, but in Fremont, Seattle, USA, tipping culture is such that giving any tip for a takeaway meal is considered above and beyond. I generally leave a $1 - $2 tip to indicate that i value the workers for the effort they are putting in to getting me the meal I already paid for. However, expecting 15%-20% when there is no table waiting or any special treatment is not appropriate. Further, service anywhere should be pleasant regardless of the customer's order, attitude, or tip.

Anything less than this is an embarrassment for the restaurant, the other employees, and the ownership.

I wanted to be a patron and repeat customer, giving my money to this otherwise great restaurant. I tried to come on different evenings a few times, but each time i was greeted by the fake friendly and easily soured attitude of the gray front tooth fellow (on numerous occasions) because he is not getting the inordinately high tip he expects. This leaves me feeling bad everytime I exit with my food. Even if the food tasted good, I end up with a...

I came here on a Sunday evening for a quick, dine in meal. I’ve been wanting to try this neighborhood spot for a while since it has so many good reviews. Unfortunately, we left with stomach aches from the food and a bad taste in our mouths from the service.

Food - We ordered the Sinbad gyro, the shawarma wrap, and Greek fries. An hour after we ate, both me and the other person in my party both had upset stomachs from the food. Unsure if it’s due to the cleanliness of the kitchen, freshness of food, etc but Sinbad needs to re-evaluate how their food is prepared.

Service - There was only one employee working, manning both the cash register and cooking the meals. The employee was pretty short and unwelcoming to us as well as the three other parties that came after us. Every time a customer would come in and try to make small talk, the employee would cut them off and ask them what they want. I can understand it is stressful taking on two roles but to treat your customers with such a bad attitude is unacceptable.

Needless to say, we will not...

Not the best but not the worst. I'm not exactly ecstatic about my order, but it's still good.

They move at their own pace, which is slow fast. I swear it took for ever for me to get to the front so I could let the teller know I was here to pick up my order. The teller was on the phone so it slightly slowed him down, but barely. My order wasn't ready so I waited. When I sat down u realized it had only been 6 minutes since I ordered on the phone. So I decided to walk out for fresh air and boom, order was ready.

Let's talk about the location, good luck finding parking, luckily I rode my bike for this trip. If you live in the area, this is perfect as there is both indoor and common outdoor seating which is right off the main road. Perfect for people watching while eating. I even caught a bit of the sunset. Makes me think about even moving to the area.

I was on the fence about coming back due to the lack of meat and sauce, but since I earned a yelp coupon for checking in, I'll have to come back and out it...
