If I could give zero stars I would. There was a lady seemingly in charge the night of November 25th who was disgustingly rude she should be ashamed of how nasty she was treating another human. But she most likely won’t care. Maybe Wendy’s will?
So I asked the guy taking order for a 5$ biggie bag with the chicken sandwich.Idk how he messed it up but he did. Things happen no biggie. So I go to the front and tell the middle aged lady in the front handing food who had a thick accent my situation. She keeps saying “what” with this look of disgust like I’m speaking an alien language. So I slow down my sentence for her to hear me word for word loud and clear as well as the customers bc I’m trying to make sure if they can hear it how can you not hear me? I didn’t do that with ill intention but that is how I handled her rude demeanor in that situation and I didn’t know how else for her to hear me I was speaking regularly. I don’t think she liked that as she had hate for me the rest of the time I ate my food there.
She finally says it’s 52 cents what’s the big deal in this nasty attitude. Grabs the change out the drawer all angry and roughly hands me with some change falling. I didn’t bother picking it up. The main issue was I don’t eat red meat. Sure the extra dollar is nice bc I didn’t order what you charged me for but the main thing was the bacon. How do you mess up the order and act so unprofessionally to your own mistake? Getting mad at the customer for trying to correct the issue as if that’s not valid?
Once I got my food they give me the wrong order. She says what sauces even though it was already on the ticket. And I say 4 bbq, 1 ranch. She grabs me two ranch and two bbq and walks away. They gave not only all spicy nuggets when I only asked for one but they were all cold. My hunch is they did this intentionally.
As I begin eating my food. She is yelling an order out for many times. And one time I thought I heard her say chicken remake. And I looked behind to the counter and she says your food is ready. Looking at me. I go up to the front and politely tell her I believe I already got all my food. And then with a nasty attitude says I’m not talking to you! Did you order such and such meal? And then as I was trying to just say how I misheard her and it looked like she was looking at me in the eyes. She responds with “NO GET AWAY FROM HERE”. Waving her arm away like I’m some dirty animal. Practically yelling. I handled her rude and evil nature more than calmly bc I know God is watching. I was exhausted so didn’t even have the energy to say anything back I literally just responded with wow and shook my head at her disgusting behavior. Even a customer about to order saw that and said “damn rude a* b*”
Then I go back to eating my food and hear her talking about me. She tries to say sweetie to the lady who said that and says that I’m high and he thought the order before was his order. Okay?? Yes I was high on weed. And no I didn’t think it was my order it was just a misunderstanding. I was actually about to inform you that it wasn’t my meal bc it looked like you were looking at me saying it’s ready but she was just so filled with hate towards me. I don’t know why. Just bc I’m high on weed and I said something about the fact that you messed up my order you can treat me like I’m not human? No that’s not okay. She was judging me and discriminating me.
Shame on her for treating another human the way she did. If she is in a managemanet position she should not be. She is the farthest thing from a leader. From an actual restaurant level bc the place was a mess and i saw two other people leave with messed up orders or not getting what they were asking for due to how it was functioning/terrible communication skills from her. And she is far from being any kind of leader for humanity. I could have acted out and met her at her level/energy but why do that when I know that karma will take of her. If she can’t handle something as simple as that without getting pissed find a new job if you are...
Read moreI never thought I would review a fast food place, but this particular Wendy's manges to set the bar so low that it deserves the post.
I guess when you are one of the few games in the neighborhood you can afford to have 20 minute waits for the drive through. It really isn't "fast" food at that point. You are spending more burning gas than the food is worth.
Other reviewers have mentioned that the portions don't agree with the size ordered. I can confirm this. If you order a large fry expect to receive a medium amount in the large size box. Apparently the same holds true for the chili.
The most recent order and the final straw for me was a mobile order. I placed it and got the completed order confirmation in the app. I showed up to the store and waited through the interminable line. When I got to the order speaker I told them I had the mobile order and they confirmed it and told me to go through. Upon reaching the pickup window they first handed me the wrong order. Fortunately for me and probably some other poor soul who still goes here I checked it before I drove off. I told the attendant it was the wrong order and returned it. They didn't speak the best English and grabbed what I assume is the manager. After telling this individual multiple times I had a mobile order and giving my name they said they had no record of it. At this point I've had enough and I'm sure I made that terrible line even worse. I told them to forget about it and left. I checked my pending credit card transactions, and sure enough there is a Wendy's charge. While they may claim they had no record they were certainly willing to record the money.
As far as fast food goes Wendy's has always been my favorite place. However if corporate happens to see this, they really should take a look at this franchisee. It is actively doing damage to their brand. Order from here at...
Read moreCame here for my lunch break. Ordered through the mobile app for pick up but when I arrived the drive through told me they didn’t have the order. Checked a few moments after and they said they found it but I would have to go inside to get it. I told the person that I must’ve accidentally clicked the wrong setting and if I could just get it because I was short on time. For context the place was absolutely empty and the roadway its on is a one way, so in order for me to come back I would need to go around the block. I legitimately could see the bag with my food on it on the counter and I told him if I could just have my food and I’ll make sure to double check the setting next time. He shut the window in my face. I didn’t move. After a bit he opened it and told me the same thing. Sir, it’s not only dead in this restaurant, it’s the same restaurant! You’re making it seem like I’m asking you for 30 sauces without charge. Turns out this was a manager, he refused to give me his name but I believe it was Pardeep from what I saw on his tag. He proceeded to say that I’m just trying to argue with him and I’m just a little girl. Sir I’m 28 and grown. What I am asking of you is completely reasonable. There was no need to escalate such a simple request and you as a manager should have the proper training to recognize that. De-escalation is a big skill to have especially in the service industry. It’s not like I was cursing at you or making extreme demands. There is no need to call people a “little girl” over something like this. Completely...
