Mi Tierra Supermarket Sharonville — Restaurant in Sharonville

Normally I would have I have given them 5 stars but not today only because the service was horrible. The so called manager wasn't sure if he was the manager or not. When we got there the host put a table "together" for us with not enough seats for our group. Another waitress pulled two other tables together for us and we moved. Then the host finally came back and asked us for our drink order which by then we were ready for the full order. He proceeded to say he was only taking our drink order and took it 1 drink at a time coming and going for each one. Then our waitress stepped out and no one else would take our order. Once the waitress came back she rushed out order, yet every other table that sat AFTER u s received their order before us. Different waitresses then ours. When we asked about our food they said the "computer" didnt send it on time... we were about to stand up and leave when the "manager" who wasn't sure if he was the manager came to the table and we explained the situation which did not do much good since he wasn't sure who he was. We then received our food. One of the orders was a kiss steak quesadilla which half of the quesadilla has no steak or cheese. They brought over another without steak and finally a 3rd. At this point being annoyed we just wanted to leave. Like I said normally I would rate this place much better the food is good and the service is normally good also but today was not so good. I hope the owner reads this and takes a little initiative regarding his staff because he too is a wonderful person and always tries to give great service...

This place is exactly what I was looking for. It reminds me of the delicious food that I had in Mexico. It's a relaxing restaurant, No one cares about what you're wearing or how you look like.. I feel very comfortable in and warmly welcomed in this restaurant. The food, That's another story of love.... the portions are huge enough to fill out two stomachs lol full of flavors, everything tastes fresh, tastes like home.. Staff are very friendly, which is very known avout Latinos, the prices are affordable. I will go to this place over and over again so I can try the entire menu, I can never get enough of their food. All of the workers are very friendly if you act respectable. The selection of "ethnic" foods and products is impressive, and the prices are not bad. On Saturdays, they often will have tiny "baby bananas," which my neighbors' toddler kids love!

The attached tacqueria serves authenic and Americanized Mexican fare of consistently good quality - their papa fritas (french fries) are some of the best that I have eaten in greater Cincinnati. I suggest buying a bottle or two of Mundet apple soda or one of the Jarritos flavors at the store register and then bringing them in to the tacqueria to drink...
