Our Unfortunate stay with this hotel started way before we even stayed for buisness. We booked 1 room with 2 occupants with the lowest floor possible. My wife doesn’t like elevators and the stairs were fine for her. Well months later my wife calls this Marriott to make sure our reservations were ok and nothing we told the front desk taking the reservations were even taken down. They had us as 1 person in the room and Never put down lowest floor possible. That was our first Bad experience with this hotel! Red Flag!!!!
Now we finally get to the hotel . Bindu who is the manager took charge and we got the lowest room 2 nd floor and we were now booked as 2 ppl not 1. Ok that was taken care of. Now my wife opened a Marriott credit card to pay for this trip. Unfortunately, we did not get the card in time for this trip. We ended up calling Marriott credit card services and they told us we could pay for the trip using Apple Pay and they therefore put my credit card information on my cell phone. When I told the front desk this at this particular Marriott they told me I cannot use my cell phone. The receptionist had no idea what she was doing and refused to use the other card reader so I could pay with my Marriott credit card. That’s why I opened it in the first place. So now I had to use another credit card which I did not want to do. the first night was fine sleeping there. The second night we were there we came home from a long day at our convention only find a ROACH in our room. We ended up killing it and immediately called the front desk. A gentleman answered the phone and could really care less that we had a roach in the room and made no big deal about it.. Our stay gets better and I’m being sarcastic. The last night of our trip we just got back from another long day at our convention and did not want to travel to restaurant to eat. Inside this Marriott hotel was a restaurant that we had eaten the night before. The food was excellent. I must say that’s the only good thing about this hotel was the food. We asked the front desk What time does the restaurant open? They told us 7 PM. OK so we went upstairs to pack our bags because we were leaving early the next morning for 10 1/2 hour drive home. My wife went downstairs to order the food Only to see that the restaurant was pitch black. The restaurant ended up being closed. !!!!! After we were told by the front desk that they were open by 7 Pm!!!!!! To say we are livid with this stay at this incompetent Marriott hotel. The help just did not seem to care, they give false information out that they didn’t know half the times what they were talking about. They don’t know how to check people in. In fact, when we first entered the hotel, a family was there fighting with the front desk that they screwed up their reservations and never had them staying at that Marriott in the first place when they were supposed to I should’ve saw that as a red flag. Do not stay at this Marriott. They are incompetent. Half the times one of the girls at the front desk didn’t even understand English! We are now switching over to the Hilton, who actually know how to treat their guests. Marriott is history. Beware if...
Read moreI stayed here the end of June and it was horrible. Key cards didn’t work-every time we returned to the hotel, we had to get new keys and they never worked. We were at the convention center for a large convention and one night as we were trying to get in so a member of our party could get her insulin on our way to dinner took 45 minutes to get in the room as key after key wouldn’t work. We only had a short amount of time for dinner and this really messed up our time for dinner and the convention that night. Maintenance man asked us what we expected as the doors were 30 years old. WiFi didn’t work, phone in room didn’t work, only one light in room worked, halls were dark and dirty and garbage bags full of trash in hallways outside of rooms-we were told people were living in the hotel. From the outside, you could see blankets were hung up at some windows instead of curtains. We were told the pool and restaurant were under renovation but there would be donuts and coffee-there wasn’t. The website says the pool and restaurant are under repair, however, I saw nothing being repaired-just a property that was dirty and looked like there hadn’t been repairs in years. The pictures on the website are very misleading. The ice machines were broken the entire stay. We were originally put in a room on the third floor but the elevators were out and knee issues prevented using the steps, told the front desk this and was then given a room where we had to walk a good distance to a room at the back of the hotel. The room wasn’t cleaned after the first night and asked for more towels-only got 2 even though we had 4 in the room. We were told if we got more, the room wouldn’t be cleaned the next day. The next day-one bed was made, still had to go get towels and toilet paper as they weren’t replenished. When I booked the room in August 2018-the price given was 392. I contacted the hotel a couple of months before my stay to get AAA put on my account as I just signed up for it and was told it would be 190 for three nights. However, at time of stay, I was told AAA couldn’t be used when they are under renovation. Yet, friends in another room were allowed to use AAA discount. After calling and talking to several people-I was finally given the discount. An African American woman-that was the manager-I should have gotten her name-was very rude on the phone and at the hotel. While I believe I should pay for the services -we definitely should have a refund of part of the money paid due to the conditions and services that were stated but not received. We have 400 people returning to the area for a convention again next June /we had many that stayed there this year-but you will be missing out on any business from them as everyone has been made aware of the condition of this property. I understand the property is going to be renovated but that is no reason for rooms in use not to be clean, basic necessities such as an ice machine that works, and...

Our wedding at Delta Hotels by Marriott was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we decided on this venue, we were in awe of the seamless experience orchestrated by the dream team, Nidhi and Natalie. Their dedication and expertise made our special day a flawless event.
Let’s start with the decor. Every detail was meticulously planned and executed, transforming the venue into a breathtaking setting that perfectly matched our vision. The room lighting was enchanting, creating a warm and inviting ambiance that all our guests adored.
Timeline management was impeccable. With so many moving parts to consider when planning a wedding, it can be overwhelming. But thanks to Nidhi and Natalie, everything ran like clockwork. Dinner service was impressively efficient, taking only 40 minutes from start to finish, and our guests never had to wait in line for a drink. I didn’t have to worry about a thing—these amazing professionals were always a step ahead, ensuring the day's events flowed smoothly.
And then there was the food! It was unbelievably good, leaving a lasting impression on all our guests. The buffet had a wide variety of delicious options, and every dish was a hit. We continue to receive compliments on the catering!
Our wedding had over 300 guests, and Delta Hotels by Marriott made accommodating everyone seem effortless. The staff was attentive and courteous, and most of our guests were comfortably booked into rooms at the venue, which added to the convenience and enjoyment of the event.
What truly set this venue apart was the ease of the entire experience. Once we booked with them, I barely had to lift a finger. Even when unexpected situations arose, the staff managed them with grace and efficiency. I heard after my wedding that when one kid got a little too excited and an accident happened, they replaced and reset the table before I even noticed. They even took the mom to a closet and let her find a backup outfit they had on standby just in case. That's 10/10 customer service and problem-solving skills right there!
My strongest piece of advice for anyone considering Delta Hotels by Marriott for their wedding is to trust the team. Let Nidhi and Natalie take charge. They have an incredible ability to transform your ideas into reality while you enjoy a stress-free planning process. They took care of everything with such grace and precision that all I needed to do was choose the date and show up.
If you choose Delta Hotels by Marriott for your wedding, be prepared to have all your expectations not just met, but exceeded. Our wedding was truly a dream come true, and we have Nidhi, Natalie, and the entire Delta Hotels team to thank for it. Everything was perfect, and I wouldn't change a thing!
