Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Sherwood

Been to quite a few Jersey mikes and this one had the worst customer service out of all of them, by far.

Ordered via the app and went in a few minutes before my pickup time. Walked in and stood by the pickup counter. Was not acknowledged at all. I saw they had a large catering order so I was like okay they’re extremely busy they’ll get to me when they can. Time went on, a woman walks in, goes straight to the counter and orders her sandwich. At this time it has been atleast 10 minutes that I had been standing there with nobody even saying hello or asking what my name was for a pickup order. The woman gets her entire sandwich made and walks out so then obviously I ask “hey do you guys have a mobile order for Brandon back there?” Since obviously they weren’t going to ask me. They respond with “yeah we do but it’s not made yet we just got hit with a big catering order”. Like I previously said I understand that, but when someone comes in and stands there, you don’t even acknowledge them, and then on top of that a random person comes in and just orders and gets there’s right away, it’s extremely aggravating, and at that point it completely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead.

To top it all off, I asked for no cheese on my sub and they put cheese on it, which I picked off, but it was still annoying that after waiting 30 minutes for literally 1 regular cold sub it wasn’t even made correctly lol. Been to so many different Jersey mikes and I will never return to this one.

This place is amazingly fresh and I am so happy it came to Sherwood!! The staff is fun and the subs are awesome! The Philly Cheesesteak is LEGIT, they actually cook it on a grill....no microwaved rubbery grey meat here! It's definitely my favorite hot sub ever!!

Their cold subs are BOMB. I am currently addicted to the Jersey Shore Favorite done "Mike's Way" which means; oil, vinegar, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and spices. (I get mine without onion). I have never liked oil and vinegar on a sub before but there is something in the combination of their "Mike's Way" flavors that just takes that sub to another level.

They slice the meat for the subs fresh on the spot when you order, rather than pulling it out of some bin where's it been sitting all day! They also give you a substantial amount of meat which is refreshing! You actually get a sub worth paying for that keeps you full for more than 2 hours. I get the mini and it is more than enough for me!

The bread is baked fresh and it allows the contents of the sub to be the hero. If you're going to have any bread for a sub, it should be this one. It's crusty on the outside and soft in the inside and the perfect vehicle to allow the flavors of a sub to sing.

Wow!! If you're looking for any kind of friendly customer service then don't bother coming here. I walked in and the employee was cleaning the meat slicer. The employee didn't even acknowledge that I was standing there waiting to order a sandwich. Finally I was asked what I wanted and I asked a question about a sandwich to which the employee seemed extremely irritated that I asked a question. I ordered my sandwich and waited and finally someone else comes out the back room to ring me up and literally didn't say a word to me besides the amount that was due. There was no "hi" or "how are you?" I paid what I owed and then the employee walked away. Again there wasn't "thank you" or "have a nice day." Literally nothing was said to me besides the amount that was due. I watched the interaction of the customers that came in after me and sadly witnessed the same thing. The two employees working just seemed like they were being inconvenienced by customers walking in and they were extremely short and rude. I enjoy Jersey Mike's sandwiches and usually go to the Cascade Station shop but I was out in Sherwood for a meeting so decided to go to that shop. Sad to say, I will never go to the Sherwood Jersey...
