Taco Time — Restaurant in Sherwood

These guys have GREAT tacos, the best mexi fries and many of the other typical items. Definitely much better quality food than the other fast food taco chain, who I won't name here - but you know who I mean. 😏 Then as a surprise, they also have a smoothie franchise in the same location. So you can order it all at once. There is no area to sit and eat inside, and no drive thru - but that doesn't stop me because their food is so yummy, and they have good service! The easiest and fastest way to get your food is to get their app and order your food ahead of time. They'll keep it warm, or cold in the case of the smoothies, till you get there and it's usually all ready to go when you arrive. The prices are higher than that other taco chain, though they do have a couple items you can get @ 4 of for $5, but for the quality of their food it's honestly worth the price difference. I've REALLY missed having a Taco Time nearby (there was a drive thru Taco Time here in Sherwood, near where the Dutch Bros is many, MANY years ago), so I'm very happy this family decided to set one up here again. It's local family owned and run, and they care about their reputation for quality food and good service. The lobby is small since there's no east in seating, but it's clean and you can watch them make your food from there. So you know they have nothing to hide and are proud of what they do. Be sure to check them out. Let's make sure they stay busy so they stay in Sherwood - tell your friends and family to check them out. They are located right next to the mattress store in the shops adjacent to Target and across the parking lot...

Sherwood location. The girl just stared at me: didn't ask what I wanted, no greeting no nothing. I ordered Nachos regular and she didnt ask if I wanted meat or chicken or no meat. Placed me down for beef and told her I didn't want meat. I said I wanted extra cheese Pico Degillo. She never said a word to me. Then the young man gives me Nachos with beef. I told her I didnt want beef, again, she still said nothing. The young man making them asked what I wanted. Hardly any cheese and maybe a couple tblsp of Pico. I asked why she charged me extra and she said it didnt come with the Pico and I said it did. I looked up the me u when I got home and it does come with that. The pico was starting to go bad tomatoes had an off-taste like vinegar. I wont go back. My friends lettuce tasted weird. These young kids need help with customer service. At least....say hello. Not even a sorry for getting my order wrong. I...

We've been to this Taco Time many times with no problem. But yesterday, unfortunately, that streak was broken.

One item in our order was incorrect. We ran it back inside to get a corrected item. Instead of just fixing a new one, the person took the burrito, opened it up, scraped out what we didn't want with her hand and threw it in the garbage, added a few other items back in and rolled it back up and handed it to us with sauce just running down the burrito.... just hand scraped it and handed it back like it was supposed to be equally as delicious and not disgusting.

Not to mention the fact that it was supposed to be a taco, not a burrito. Once they realized that they made a new one, but not before making us feel stupid about wanting a new item.

Suggest to the owner that you check on this crew from Saturday afternoon. Not sure how many people are going to want freshly hand scraped items going in...
