I've been going here regularly since it's opened. Energy Bowls are good. Went yesterday, ordered two, and got yo the counter & they nonchalantly attempted to UPCHARGE ME. I asked, and they said, "Oh, we're aware that our menu board is incorrect, but this is the new cost. $12Ć·Ć·Ć·" for HALF of a bowl of Acai (always dependent on the servers' mood) and a few berriesš¤¦āāļøridiculous!!! Explained that it wasn't right to charge another price WELL AFTER you've placed an order from a priced menu board. They say, "Oh, sorry about thatš¤·āāļø, do you want it or not?" I LEFT & WILL NOT RETURN!!!! Unfortunately! ALL to lose a customer, and $23 sell, and reputation. Not a company I want to represent nor give my $$ to. How do you forget a whole coffee when itās the most expensive part of the order? After having that happen this morning, Iām done with Kitanda.
Besides their bad service, theyāve also been experimenting with raising their prices using a ghost kitchen. I used to love Kitanda and went to the U-District restaurant for years. Iām annoyed that they canāt actually provide decent service from their Shoreline location. Itās impossible to get a good rating on your food when you donāt provide the customer their food.
