Johnny's Pizza House — Restaurant in Shreveport

Never ever would I have thought that I would have anything negative about Johnny's Pizza..the best pizza ever in my book! When I'm in Louisiana, it's a must have❤! Today we did a search for the nearest one instead of traveling to our usual off Masnfield Rd. I will never go to the Pines Rd. location again. The facility is great but the staff is unfriendly and the service was ridiculous. We placed our order and my husband paid, at that time I didn't realize he wasn't even given a receipt, only a table marker. We ordered 2 large pizzas and a large dessert pizza. One of our pizzas was finally arrived after 20 minutes, about 10 minutes later the second pizza arrived and finally after almost an hour had passed they bring the dessert pizza out in a box, as I had planned on eating it while it was warm. When I opened it, it was overcooked and some pieces almost too hard to eat. I would have complained and told them I wanted one that was not overcooked and hard; but I didn't have time to wait another hour to get a replacement! Couldn't have been more dissapointed and dissatisfied. We were not the only person who had issues either. We spoke with a lady who called in an order at 4pm to be picked up at 6pm and they had made the pizza when she called and it was completely cold so she was having to wait for another; at least she was getting the fresh one at no charge! Something somewhere must be wrong in the managing of this...

I normally order online. This particular time I went in and wanted order to go. Upon entering the building we were not greeted and the manager was on the register. Obviously he was having a bad day. My wife and I were not prepared by looking at the board and didn’t know what we really wanted because we were ordering for a few people. We started to order and another customer came in and we gave way to him because we didn’t want to hold up the line. This made the manager obviously upset. We could tell by his demeanor and the looks given by him. We irritated him because we were not prepared and it truly showed. My wife ask if he was frustrated. He didn’t respond. Another cashier came and took over and my wife told her thank you and he gave my wife a horrible look. He turns around and go to the prep staff. Turns his back to us, says something and they laughs and he walks away. He never took our name. Our food came up and we were just sitting there. One of the cooks came out from the back and ask what did we order. He went and got our order for us. I got the feeling that the manager did something to our food. I hope I’m wrong, and my intuition was off. It’s normally spot on and it told me to cancel the order and go to the other store across town. I got this food for kids and my family. Very bad experience and the energy was definitely off with the leadership of the restaurant. He was having...

I was passing through & had this on my list because I saw it on Tic Toc. I got the a 10" Sweep the Kitchen & Meat Pizza. The service was very good. The staff was very nice & explained the questions I had about different menu options. I came right after the lunch rush, so it was still a little busy. They had a salad bar & am old school all you can eat pizza buffet. I don't know what it cost, because I forgot to check. But I like that they had this option because it allows you to get full & try everything. I watched everybody doing their job & talked to each other to make sure orders were getting out &then i watched a young man come out & clean all the tables & still talked to me as he was doing so. A lot of places just take your order & that's it, but he didn't. What I liked most was the sauce in the pizzas & the crust was really good. The crust was thin, but no so thin that it fell apart. Most places you can't really taste the pizza sauce, but this was one you could get a good taste but want over powering. The Sweep the Kitchen was everything I like in a pizza. The only thing that I would change would be to cancel the onions or get less. Sometimes the onions can take away form the other ingredients, but it wasn't that bad. I will definitely be coming back when I pass...
