I walked in there with my daughter this morning after she had a tooth removed, so she was very excited to get her smoothie.
We walked in and the door dinged, there was one girl in there. She didnt come out, no biggie, I figured she didnt hear the door. My daughter being 6 started saying "hello" after about 2 minutes of us standing at the register, still no one. Mind you we were the only ones in there. I saw the girl and politely said "excuse me", she didnt hear me i guess. Another couple walked in and the door dinged again. I figured there's no way she didnt hear that, but they grabbed their mobile order and we continued to stand there. We probably stood there for a total of 7 minutes which I know doesn't sound long but the place was completely empty. And we attempted to get her attention politely. I ended up walking behind the counter and again saying "excuse me" she looked at me, didnt say a word, and I replied "can you take our order?" She gave me the grumpiest look, walked over, just stared at me while I stated my daughter order, made the drink and handed it to us. I said "thank you" and not once did she say ONE word.
I worked in customer service for over a decade so I try to be patient, but this was just rude behavior. Annoying and rude tbh. I can get over the wait for sure but just apologize.

Read moreI’m very frustrated with this location. A few months ago I placed an online order for a wrap with plant based chicken. I got a call about 7 minutes before I was supposed to pick it up and a voicemail saying they were out of plant based chicken. I showed up to the store as I didn’t see the message or call and the cashier let me know so I asked for a refund. They gave me a refund and all was fine. I had went to order online multiple times since and saw the plant based chicken was no longer an option so I just didn’t order. Today I checked and the plant based chicken was back on their website to order so I placed an online order. I get there and pick it up. Once I got home I noticed there was no plant based chicken in my wrap. Mind you, I pay extra for it. I saw they called me again about 7 minutes before I was supposed to pick it up but this time with no message and they filled my order as it was ready when I got there. I’m super frustrated now since I’ve wasted my time and money now twice due to something not being available still being on their online ordering. I called the store and no one answered so I left a message and I guess I’ll wait to see if they actually call back. I wouldn’t have ordered had I known they were out of that protein option as that is the majority of the wrap. Will not be using this location again. I’ve never had an issue at any other Tropical...
