Update July 11, 2024. Before I update,I want it clear, I never asked for money, and I never asked for their insurance. I was still sick when I spoke to Jersey Mike's, I spoke to them before my 2nd er visit. I told them I still felt sick, and the list of chemicals would be helpful to help my symptoms. They never got back to me. I was still really ill when they involved their insurance. They were heartless. After my review, I provided my medical documents from my ER visit to Jersey Mikes insurance. After not hearing anything for over a month and a half, they still denied any wrongdoing. Case closed. I never heard back from anyone from Jersey Mike's themselves. I guess they were ok with food being tampered with because no one died. The whole ordeal was handled wrong. Only one of my subs, the giant, had this substance on the sub. There was so much of this on the sub that one bite made me ill for 2 weeks. At first, the insurance said it was a diluted ammonia santizer. They wanted to pay my medical bills and that they would get in touch with my insurance. After speaking with my insurance, they no longer are at fault, I have no evidence to prove they are liable and lied and told me she never said the ammonia sanitzer was on my sub. Even after the er documents. Case closed. I'll never know what was on my sub, and there was nothing done in the store to handle this at all. They do not care. Be careful eating here as long as you don't die. It's ok for food to be tampered with. What a joke. Funny how I just asked for a list of chemicals they use in the store, and they hid behind their insurance. I definitely will not be eating out anywhere for a while if ever again. On February 28th, 2024, my husband and I ordered 2 subs from Jersey Mike's Subs in Sierra Vista, AZ. We got 2 subs, 1 giant, and 1 regular, which we placed through their app. We picked up our subs and came home to eat. I took a bite, and there was some sort of cleaner just on the giant sub. It was filmy, oil coating had a floral drying taste and was disgusting. We went back to Jersey Mike's where no apology was issues, they threw out the sub immediately and handed my husband his money and refused to tell him what could be on the sandwich and basically kicked him out. I went to the ER twice after eating just one bite that I spit out. I had stomach craps, vomiting, diarrhea, extreme nausea, and intestinal cramps. This was from one bite that I spit out. That's how much cleaner or soap was on this sandwich. I was sick for 10 days, 14 days before I was back to 100%. We spoke to the General Manager of the store, who said they take this seriously, and they will look into it. I then heard from their insurance company about a claim being put in, and they would investigate this. Last week, the insurances called to tell me they wanted to take liability and that there was some ammonia cleaner on the sub. This week they call say hey we aren't going to take responsibility because after speaking with your insurance there is no proof that Jersey Mike's was the reason for the ER visits and that she never said that it was on my sub just that it's what she know they clean with, which is not true by the way. She told me it's was a diluted ammonia cleaner they used to sanitize, and they didn't know how it got on my sub. Now she is saying she never said that. AND KNOW I WILL NOT KNOW WHAT WAS ON MY SUB. I DON'T CARE ABOUT MONEY, LIBAILITY, ETC! I DIDN'T ASK FOR THE FRICKEN INSURANCE TO BE INVOLVED. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! I WANT TO KNOW WHAT WAS ON MY SUB, WHY IT WAS ON MY SUB AND HOW IT IS GOING TO BE FIXED IN THE STORE MY FOOD WAS TAMPERED WITH AND THEY DON'T CARE AND I HAVENT HEARD FROM ANYONE OUTSIDE THEIR INSURANCE SINCE THIS. Read moreUpdated Review: The last couple of times we have gone to Jersey Mike's the quality seems to have gone down a bit. On our last visit, they gave me the completely wrong sandwich. And on the previous, it was just less than fresh ingredients. This is not what we have come to expect from this location and it has sadly deterred us from returning. I've lowered the star rating as a result.
Original 5-star Review: We've been to Jersey Mike's quite a few times, my husband stops there for lunch on work days when he's in town.
Tonight we split the Giant Philly cheese steak with mushrooms which was savory and delicious. Both girls working were friendly and helpful. Rayne had excellent customer service! When I told them we were splitting it they offered to wrap the halves separately and even checked how we wanted it cut. They didn't mind putting the onions and peppers on the side for us. We added Mayo to ours and it was so perfect. Sorry, there are no pics we ate it all on our drive home haha.
The lobby wasn't busy but the workers were. The place looked clean and tidy as usual and the staff seemed genuinely happy to help us even tho I couldn't remember the number of the sandwich I wanted.
We've had the California club (one of our favs), the big Kahuna, and most of their other sandwiches at some point. The root beer and cream soda are pretty yummy too.
I also love that you can get the sandwiches as a bowl if you don't want the bread. I've done this and it's still quite yummy and filling.
We've had some minor inconsistencies depending on the time of day we go in, but for the most part, we've had good experiences. Tonight was one of the best and we needed it after a long day....

So, imagine my surprise after being very satisfied with my food for years that I would get such a sandwich that was very disappointing. Yesterday, 29 March 2023, was the day that the cost of all orders would go to charity. I chose to be a part of that and placed usual order. Now, I know that it was a VERY busy day for them, but that should be no excuse for what they produced. It should make them only want to be better and provide the same quality service they have always done in the past. I placed my order online in the morning with a pickup in the afternoon. Nothing unusual, in fact, it was an order I had placed before without issue. When it came to dinnertime, I began to eat my #13, light on the oil/vinegar, and add the pepper relish, no other variances requested. BUT, as I took a few bites, noticed the pepper relish was heavily spread on the top bun from one end to the other - heavily spread. AND, there were NO tomatoes, NONE. WTH??? Every other time I have gotten the #13, I have been quite happy with the sandwich, lots of lettuce (a feature I really like about it!), overlapping tomato slices, one word, YUM. But yesterday, they blew it. Only takes one screw-up to wipe out a hundred great times! There is no excuse for the poor product I received. Gonna be a while before I give it...
