This is a starbucks in the Fry's Grocery store. Like most in store locations the staff and policies differ slightly from stand-alone locations but nothing that will be much of an issue for the average customer.
This location had a remodel not too long ago and it is quite nice. They have seating with plugs available and the stores open wifi is available and decent connection. I didnt see anyone clean the tables the entire time I was there which was over an hour, so something to keep in mind.
The staff seems to be hit or miss over the years but on this visit the initial staff were friendly and efficient. I stayed a while on my computer and ordered a 2nd drink and a breakfast burrito eventually and the 2nd staff I dealt with did seem as if she was in a bad mood but wasn't exactly rude.
On this trip I ordered a cookie crumble frap with oatmilk and it was as expected. Starbucks coffee has always been a bit on the bitter side for me but the sweetness of the fraps offsets it and I enjoyed the drink.
The 2nd drink I got was the pink drink with oatmilk instead of coconut milk (I dont like coconut) and I've had this before tho not in at least a year and I don't know if the recipe changed or what but it just wasn't very good. It didnt taste right but I couldn't put my finger on why. It wasnt disgusting just not right. I still drank most of it and let my husband finish the rest and he agreed with me.
I also had the breakfast burrito which I believe was egg cheese and sausage but definitely had potato in it too. It was mid as the kids say, kind of basic nothing terrible nothing to write home about. Satisfied my hunger but probably wouldn't get it again.
If you're going to spend more than an hour here like I did, be aware the grocery store bathroom is gross. This isnt the Starbucks fault but...
Read moreThis Starbucks is not well managed, I stood in line for about 4 minutes did not get talked to until the barista finished another order… until than she gave me service and it was poor… I think Starbucks is always about customer service and how you treat your people because I work at one and I for sure like to make sure my people are well treated and I think it’s a policy your not allowed to use “ non commercial soap “ to wash your dishes, the place was a mess boxes stacked in the lobby it represents a poor Starbucks and it’s embarrassing but here I am writing this and upsets me because I work at one and wouldn’t want to make the company look like this because it’s a company we share and should make sure it’s top #1 because we want our people back and that’s what makes us friendly this upsets me and I hope FRYS can make a difference in this because it’s in your store make the difference here I have attached a photo of the dish soap this can be very ineffective and fry’s manage your Starbucks the way it should be managed seriously it’s embarrassing for the Starbucks company it’s the first time I see noncomercial dish soap being used like this…. Also following Starbucks recipes the way they are suppose to be followed is key as well these baristas need training…. My comment may be irrelevant but seriously this...
Read moreMy drink was made perfectly. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I can't understand why I waited 20 minutes at 7am for my frapp. There were only two women working. They were out of grande cups so I was forced to get a venti. They didn't have the right lids for the frapp so I had to take the lid off to drink it, and they were out of straws. I feel bad for the staff because whoever is making their schedules is doing them dirty. They are clearly super stressed, and when they run out of something like soymilk, one employee has to run to the back of the store to get more which leaves just one employee manning the register and making drinks. During the morning coffee rush that's extremely unfair to do to your employees. It's crazy that they are still able to hand out drinks with a smile so kudos to them but whoever is managing them needs to...
