Carrabba's Italian Grill — Restaurant in Siesta Key

I just had a fantastic meal at Carrabba's in Sarasota! Ordering from their app was a breeze, and I really liked that I could pay right at the drive-thru. It made everything so convenient.

Let me start with the Shrimp Scampi. Oh my goodness, it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were spot-on, and the shrimp were cooked to perfection. I would go back just for that dish.

My husband ordered The Johnny Trio, and he was all smiles. He raved about the 10oz Sirloin, which was cooked just the way he likes it. The Mezzaluna pasta and Caesar Salad that came with it were also top-notch. He cleaned his plate.

As for me, I went for the Linguine Pescatore, and boy, was it a winner! The seafood was so fresh, and the pasta was cooked al dente. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and I couldn't get enough of it. It definitely hit the spot.

Now, let's talk about the Lobster Ravioli. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to our expectations. We were disappointed because there was no sign of any lobster inside. It was a letdown, and neither of us enjoyed it. We ended up tossing it in the trash.

On the bright side, the staff at Carrabba's in Sarasota were friendly and helpful. Our order was ready on time for curbside pickup, and everything was handled smoothly.

I've been coming here to this exact restaurant ever since it opened a long long time ago and everything is always phenomenal like some of the best Italian food you can get in this area and that's saying a lot! But they no longer have the bowl of mussels which was always the best appetizer that got ordered every single time I've come to this restaurant never fails until they stop carrying it bring it back is all I ask.but other than that Great food that always hits the spot!

I had to add to my review of this absolutely stellar place! I absolutely loved the muscles that is no longer on the menu and is always the first thing I try to order when calling in for to go always forgetting they're no longer available...😭 But tonight I ordered to go again.. and spoke to Paige she was so sweet and so nice and apologetic about them no longer having muscles as an appetizer, as well as she walked me through the menu options and side options because I tried something new tonight and she nailed it! Got my order absolutely perfect as well as my special request about extra dressing for the salad and extra marsala sauce for my chicken marsala! Food is always amazing here and like I said she got my order absolutely perfect I will keep coming back to this location forever! Thank you Paige for getting my order...

Carrabba's food never disappoints. It is always served hot and tastes delicious. My issue is with the service. Last night, we were seated quickly, not a huge crowd, server can and gave us water and left so fast we couldn't ask for straws. Came back in few minutes to take our drink order, we then gave her the order and she wanted to know if we wanted to place our food order. We told her to give a few minutes to enjoy our wine. When wine was served she came back three times withing 3 minutes to take our food order. Finally we felt so rushed we gave her the order. Our salads came out very fast, and I asked her if she would slow down the entre so we could enjoy the wine salad and bread. Turns out the order is placed at the table when she is taking the order, and if you want to change something before she leaves it is "too late"!!! Food came out way before we finished our salads. I asked her how we can slow down the service a bit, and she said we have to ask that when we first come in. I doubt I'll go back there in a long while, and when I do (because the food is good) I'll request a slower service and hopefully that won't mean being ignored.
