I love starbucks. I've been to this location a few times with no issues and had a normal starbucks experience. Today I went around 10pm and my expirence was frustrating and humiliating.
A little back story, I walk and take the bus to work. This starbucks is by my job.
Before I went to this Starbucks location I checked on the Starbucks mobile app and Google for store hours. I didn't want to walk to the store if they were closed. I was excited to find out I can pick up a drink In store until 11pm.
Around 10pm I did a mobile order. I arrived about 10:15pm to the store. The Starbucks doors were locked and the employees were cleaning. I showed my order for through the window, hoping they can hand my drink through the door. A few of the employees mouthed to "go around", meaning go to the drive thru. I mouth back and signed "I don't have a car".
Most, if not all, of the employees gatherered behind the counter, talked amongst themselves and ignored me. I walked to the drive thru window. One employee came to the window and told me the lobby closed at 10pm. I showed her my phone and let her know the app should have told me I couldn't order In store. She proceeded to tell me after 10pm they can't let me in the lobby.
I didn't want to be in the lobby after realizing the doors were locked and they were cleaning. I wanted my drink and be on my way to work.
I would have been ok with someone handing me my drink at the door and informing me about the correct store hours.
Instead I felt ignored at the door and humiliated because I had to walk through a drive thru for my In...
Read moreI was lied to by the barista about the venti ice.
They're not giving it to me personally. Why?
I've seen them give venti ice to several people so far and when I ask they give me one lie after the other. Say only tall cups of ice only. We're trying to save our cups or we're low on ice. But not more than ten minutes later a black brother come walzing in and they give him two venti cups of ice. Wow.
I've been to several other Starbucks and no one ever heard of such an absurd thing.
Ice is for free. I buy from this store all the time if not sometimes but I still buy. Expensive $$$$$$$ . So for them to treat me like this is wrong.
I've never shown them any contempt, never had any bad words, or arguments, always treated them kindly and respected them and they do this to a long time customer!!!!
Disgusting. Repulsive. I speak the honest-to-goodness truth and they HATE me and MISTREAT me for it.
Yes, their liberal hearts are about JOY and LOVE alright. Hate the white guy, love everyone else of colour.
They're the racists. They're the liars. It just never pays off being kind and joyful to liars who work Starbucks and fly their Pride flags.
Yet, where else must anyone go when there's virtually no other coffee shop around...
Read moreIt would be great if you could retrain some of your staff, or better yet, all of them, that if a customer forgets to order a free cup of ice water with their $35 order, don't school the customer by telling them that they should have ordered it at the screen. Just because your window timer runs out, that doesn't mean, you should be including the customer of the behind-the-scenes functions. Customer service is keen. When you have customers who have their money already loaded on a Starbucks card, that means that that money that they put on the card has been generating interest on the stock market for Starbucks. That's why these cards exist to begin with. It's strategic. So if your timer runs out, so what. You don't tell the customer about that. You get them their water and you thank them for their patronage. Then when they tell you thank you for the water, you say you're welcome. Because I didn't even get a "you're welcome." This took place today June 28th at 2:30 p.m. in the Drive-Thru window. Also, there was a lack of a smile on the...
