Had an epic lunch @fafokitchen2023 in Silverdale where we tackled THREE insane sandwiches (because, why not?). First up, the Steak & Fries – this sandwich packs flank steak, crispy steak fries, provolone, and house-made horseradish aioli on fresh Cubano bread. It’s like a flavor punch to the face. Then there’s the Mediterranean Chicken Sando, with olive spinach pesto, roasted spicy cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and citrus-dressed arugula – basically a vacation in sandwich form. And finally, the T.A.P. – tomato, arugula, and prosciutto with fried prosciutto (yep, you read that right), garlic aioli, and more. 🍅🥪 Oh, and the fries? Hand-cut, soaked for days in cold water (seriously, they’re treated better than some of us), and fried twice to crispy perfection. Mecca’s all about the T.A.P., but I’m living for the Mediterranean Chicken. BURGER HUNTERS 🍔🔍 Episode 7: FAFO (Silverdale, WA) Stop #7 took us to FAFO in Silverdale and I went straight for the heavy hitter: The FAFO Stack. This burger is crazy delicious and you can run it single ($19) or double ($22) depending on how loud your appetite is talking today. 😅 And the fries… I’m not being dramatic (okay I am) but these are some of the best fries I’ve ever had. 🍟🏆 The FAFO Stack is a real contender: wagyu, pickled red onions that set it off, leafy lettuce, sliced tomatoes, fresh cheddar, and a beautifully cooked sunny-side-up egg crowning the whole situation. 👑🍳 Chef Nate and Chef Miah are absolutely killing it.
