We Placed an order for 2 simple sandwiches, and got the notification the order was received all was going well. After 45 min no delivery or update from the app I decided to call the store.
Whoever answered immediately got the manager involved for no reason at all. I just wanted an update on my order. The manager gets on the phone and immediately starts making excuses. The only two drivers they had were out on deliveries plus there was just a âbuttloadâ of orders tonight and more deliveries! She even found the time to mention they do not advertise âfreaky fastâ anymore. After going through the excuses she went on to say,
âwhat do you want me to do?â
After hearing a MANAGER tell me about the lack of drivers and the âbuttloadâ of orders I did get annoyed so I asked to cancel my order. The handling of this was just so unprofessional. Should it really take a hour for a sandwich? No, but things happen I do understand that.
Here is something I do know. It is 100% my job to pay the obscene price for these sandwiches and give the driver a little tip for making my evening easier. 100% NOT my job to provide customer relation tips/solutions for any Jimmy Johnâs manager. Since you no longer claim to be âfreaky fastâ anymore. How about you simply communicate through your app. Here is a fun example of what you could do!
âsorry your order is delayed although it wonât be freaky fastâŚit will still be freaky GOOD!â
Other places seem to provide this sort of thing without any assistance from me, and so should you!
To make and deliver a sandwich absolutely offers up challenges, but letâs be for realâŚitâs not rocket science.

They seem to not enjoy their job and if thatâs the case they should look for a different one where they donât need to interact with people. I placed an online order for curbside pickup. After 20 minutes I called in to see if my order was ready since the online status was only set at order received. The girl who answered had no knowledge of this order so she asked around(not the problem). She said itâs for inside pickup, I said no curbside and she confirmed that but said I need to check in for future reference. When I started saying that I was getting an error that said my order isnât ready and not to check in before they change the status to âOrder Ready To Pickupâ she rushed me off the phone and said âsomeone will be out with your foodâ and hung up. Sorry, but if thereâs a potential system issue at my job or something I didnât do on my side, I would want to know for future reference. The GUYS here have been great though. I clearly specified that my desire was for TWO subs and not double meat gargantuan durring the order? I spelled it out very plainly that the doubleGB is one long sandwich that is exactly the same as TWO gargantuans. If I wanted one sub with double meat I'd ask for a damn double meat sub.
