The Wheelhouse Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Sioux City

On a busy Saturday night! Iowa is playing, but they don't staff properly! Unacceptable! We got there after a college game locally and decided to have drinks and food with the team! They put us in the back room and started to order food and drinks. Things started to come out reasonably, and then the wheels started to fall off! Food that wasn't ordered by our party came to us but no one in the party knew so they ate it. The servers decided to come to me to tell me that it was a mistake, but I would be charged for it. I told her that's not my fault and I shouldn't have to pay for it but told her that's fine. I'll pay for it. The manager came out and said she would take it off the bill. I told her I would appreciate it. But then drinks started to come much slower. By the time we decided to leave, we noticed that an order was chicken wings that didn't come to us yet and told the server to cancel it. The manager came out again to explain that it's already made. I asked why we didn't we get it sooner cause it took over 30 minutes. Her explanation was that they were busy and didn't expect it to be this busy. I told her my fault and not a good excuse! I just told her to give it to the staff. Excuses are never the answer. Just apologize and make it right by taking it...

The only reason I gave this a 2 star instead of 1 is because the waitress was super nice!!!! We were super excited to try this place since we order it from bite squad when it was here and it has always been good. Super disappointed!! First off when we got there, the girl who brought us to our table set our menus down and turned and left. Didn’t say your server will be right with you or anything just turned and left before we even got to the table. Terrible customer service. Then, no one told the waitress we were at that table so it took 20 mins for us to get any service. The waitress was amazing and super nice which was the only good thing. We got our drinks just fine and got our orders in really fast which was good. Then when we got our food, it was cold and tasteless. I got the club and the bread was soggy and didn’t have that nice toasted crunch to it. The appetizers we got were cold but didn’t taste too bad. The burger we got was the chili burger and it was horrible. I understand chili is a mess in general but this was all over the plate my boyfriend couldn’t even pick it up. His fires were cold and soggy from the chili. We will not be returning to this restaurant. I could get better food and pay the same price at Soho with better...

Went in to watch the Iowa game. Watched the games at our other local sports bar but decided to try here. Multiple game views but hardly any sound except in the restrooms?? Our waiter was pretty good working Multiple tables. It was when we were finished that the table cleaners we awful. The first girl came over gave us a few dirty looks and asked if she could clear anything off. We said ok. Then I noticed 2 other waitress staring ar our table and pointing. Another one came over and grabbed a few more things off. Staring again. Then finally came over and said can we set you somewhere else we have a birthday party. Some of our party had left but we had some more coming. We left and went somewhere else. If that other party had a reservation?? Why set us there. There were plenty of empty tables when we went in. Put a couple tables together?? When we go to watch a game we want to watch a whole game. We didn't tell them how many more were coming because how rude ! DON'T GO HERE TO WATCH A GAME !
