I went to a good friend's wedding here and was a little disappointed. The floors were not swept and it seemed like there were feathers on the ground. The food was alright. The bartenders were pretty rude to the wedding guests. The bartenders did not talk to you and they gave people weird looks when the guests ordered drinks. The whole time during the reception the bartender was snapchatting. She stopped making our drinks to take a video. When I asked her to put some extra cherries in my drink she rolled her eyes. I know the bride and groom were a little disappointed in the place and I don't blame them. There was also a concert next door and people from the concert floated over to the reception to try and get drinks. There was no security or separation from the guests. There were shared bathrooms. On the bright side, it's a cool atmosphere and it had pretty artwork. Would I have my wedding there this fall?...
Read moreAs a Sioux Falls wedding photographer, I absolutely love documenting weddings at the Icon Lounge in Sioux Falls. This venue has such a unique, modern-industrial vibe that perfectly blends the historic urban charm of downtown with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The exposed brick and dramatic lighting create an incredible backdrop for photos — I never have to work hard to find a stunning angle here.
Whether couples are going for a classy cocktail-style reception, a cozy and intimate celebration, or something a little more trendy and bold, the Icon Lounge adapts beautifully. The staff is always so professional and accommodating, making the day flow smoothly not just for the couple, but for all vendors involved.
For couples looking for a stylish, downtown Sioux Falls wedding venue with character, Icon Lounge is an amazing choice.

In addition, the wine dinner was in the main lounge, and it was so loud in there, we couldn’t even hear the presenter talk about the wines. Now suddenly there’s people setting up for open mic night, and it’s way to loud and they haven’t w even started their music. We also asked for our tickets and waited an exorbitant amount of time to pay so we could leave. Overall, has the potential to be a great venue, but the wine dinner was poorly planned...
