Disgusting, Appalling, and Absolutely Unacceptable – NEGATIVE 10 Stars! Visited: Sunday, 5/4/2025 at approx. 8:14 PM
I’ve been to countless Chipotle locations and have always had a solid experience—until I walked into this nightmare. From the moment I entered, it was clear that this location has completely lost control.
Let’s start with the staff: The older man on the grill looked absolutely miserable and was cooking without a hairnet, which is disgusting and a health code violation. The girl serving the food had red short curly hair, glasses, and a hat—but also no hairnet. She had zero etiquette and looked like she couldn't care less about her job.
The cashier? I told her straight-up that the place was filthy, and instead of addressing the issue professionally, she laughed about it with another employee—some Spanish girl just kept smiling - when told about how sloppy the food was being served and how tiny the portions were. Totally unprofessional and beyond inappropriate for any food establishment.
The food station Visible to customers and straight-up NASTY! White rice had no cilantro, just giant chunks of spinach leaves—what? Brown rice looked raw and old. The beans were dry and unappetizing. Tomato salsa? So spicy it was inedible. Guacamole was a mess with massive chunks that clearly hadn’t been smashed properly. The queso looked like it had been sitting out for days. The counter was covered in grime, like it hadn’t been wiped in weeks.
Other observations: There was the other employee guy halfheartedly trying to clean the chip station who looked like he was fighting a losing battle against dried-up old food. The dining area -Trash and food all over the floor, tables, and chairs—none of it had been cleaned. The fountain drink station was absolutely revolting! And the bathroom - OMG!!! I wouldn’t wish that filth on my worst enemy. Looked like it had been abandoned. Honestly, a breeding ground for hepatitis.

Read moreThese people are so selfish that work here . I ordered 3 bowls through my chipotle app and this time the bowls had hardly any chicken it them at all !! The aluminum lid was pure CAVED in. My bowl was not even half filled . And they forgot my tomato salsa .. when I call, I get a chat box !! Absolutely no help !! I can’t get a manager on the phone to even let them know that there’s a problem with the way, they’re packing these bowls when you order them through the app and you’re not standing over them watching them to make sure they’re not screwing you over royally and not giving you any food I have a family to feed and I spent 40 and $50 at a time To feed my two kids and myself . I took three bites out of my bowl and I had no chicken left at all!!! I tried calling and it goes to chat box . You can’t get anybody on the phone so I’m gonna have to drive up to chipotle, which is like 10 miles from my house and walk in and I almost wanna throw my bowl at them. It just pisses me off to do people like that we shouldn’t have to get home and then turn around and go back and beg for the food we paid for.!! On top of that, I ordered guacamole and chips and they give me this big bag of chips and my little teeny tiny bowl of guacamole is not even filled up. It’s like got 2 tablespoons inside that bowl that’s it. I go to chipotle for many years and I know what the food is supposed to look like . Smithfield nc lotion sucks ! I have also stood in line and watched these young people hook up their high school friends and fill their bowl so full that you can’t even close the lid hardly and then I order my food through the app and not even get half a bowl of stuff with absolutely no meat ! I have three bites of chicken in my plate and the lids are caved in so under filled and I also left a tip!!!! No more !!!...
Read moreUpdate: I am updating after having a conversation with the manager, Daniel, about my previous experiences and review. I have now visited this location twice (5/12 & 5/18) and the service was absolutely impeccable and professional! And guess what…. They had WHITE RICE both times! Daniel ensured that I was heard and he made sure this place is running smoothly because we talked over 2 weeks ago. I didn’t want to change the rating until I experienced it firsthand. Such improvement! Good job management and team!
This location has to be the worst location I’ve gone to. You have to catch them at the right exact moment when they are fully stocked and the counter is clean. They don’t close until 11 but I walked in at 7 pm and they said they were done making the certain rice for the night. The counter was extremely filthy so I decided to leave. The next time I try to give it another try, guess what, they’re out of rice again and it’s only 4pm with NO LINE. I suggested the online orders and they said that I could order online but I won’t get the certain rice because all the orders on the screen were before me and they’ll probably run out before they get to mine. It was nothing but a bunch of high schoolers who were just standing around talking. This is simply a time and management issue. You shouldn’t start making the rice once you’re out. It should be ready to go by the time the container is empty from the counter. Wasted time on my part because it’s either Smithfield or Garner...
