Delicious choices: Oreo, absolotely the best! Birthday Cake, you will be back to get more. Sea Salt Caramel with Toffee, unforgettable. Not all locations are the same. The Douglasville location skimps on add-in ingredients like pecans, Oreos, etc. They also give smaller scoops than is normal at other locations. Brusters is known for it's generous scoops. I tried this location several times. I am a long time Brusters customer and have eaten their ice cream at more than 10 different locations through out the Atlanta area. The Douglasville location allowed their drive-thru to be out of order for over a year! The owner's wife would wait on you and not say a single word other than take your order and tell you the amount that you owed. No smile, no thank you, nothing. Fortunately she does not appear to work there any longer. That is good because she appeared to hate being there. My experience at all other Bruster' locations outside of the Douglasville location have been excellent. I now wait until I am on another side of town to buy Brusters ice cream. I no longer buy at the...
Read moreRude & Slow : its just me and my fiancé,, 1 person ahead of me who's waiting on a cup with 3 scoops of the same ice cream. It's 9:15pm, sprinkling out dark so its slow, the person in front of me is getting impatient at how long a simple task is taking.. there are 4 employees chatting and joking,, (3 obviously cleaning and trying to close on time but they're keeping the ONLY 1 PERSON IN THERE WHOS HELPING CUSTOMERS distracted with laughs and chit chat while we're outside while it's sprinkling.) I chime in asking if they're open,,, because three other employees are watching us waiting to be served,, and not lifting a finger.. a female employee from the back replied with a ghetto attitude "maybe we're all busy!" .. I said , " Yeah chit chatting!" .. she said " Yeah!" with a nasty attitude/face 🤣
Bottom line, if it's 9:15 pm AND it's raining out and there's barely any customers. There's no need for 3/4 employees to be doing closing duties, while making all your customers be waited on by 1 employee 🙄 BUT COMMON SENSE AIN'T SO...

However, one particular night my wife and I decided to try ordering online to skip the line while we left dinner at a restaurant. We got the attached text message that told us the instructions for online orders and did as directed. We understood that they were busy when we arrived but we waited for over 30 minutes with nothing from the people inside.
The staff saw us standing at the side window and didn't approach us or anything, not even tell us whether we needed to go to the line at the front of the store. After 30 minutes I decided to call the store and talk to them so I didn't just make a scene by walking to the window in front of guests. After 40 minutes now, we have our ice cream and are not too happy.
Sorry Brusters but we're not planning on coming back. Change your online order instructions for customers if you aren't going to follow them yourselves.
If you decide to go, don't waste your time...
